A lot of teams lost ahead of us, but I'm not sure there is enough time left in the season to jump 15 spots.

Appreciate the copium and optimism thread, this place has been like a funeral parlor here lately. Lol

We don't need toget embarrassed in the playoffs. We cannot compete with the big dogs. After Fla game, we will be looking at a bowl game.

The Vols currently have greater than a 1% chance to make it. Considering that you’re envious of the looks of a man that is now 6 feet under, I’d say the Vols are in a much better position than you are with Sidney Sweeney. Next.

I probably do have a chance of looking better than Redford at the moment but not when he was 30. That would be the obvious comparison to make. And I’m sure I didn’t need to clarify the comment for anybody else except you.

ND and Indiana are severely overrated... regardless of our position, they should not be ranked as high as the are... that is all

And yes, you definitely didn’t need to clarify the comment, although I’ll admit, I’m still struggling to make sense of what you’re trying to get across… you now have a chance with Sidney Sweeney, but only because your reference ages you to somewhere in the mid-50s early 60s timeframe (low estimate)?

I think Tennessee missed its opportunity to be be in the discussion this year, but I’d love to know if anyone has done the math on who the five highest ranked conference champions will be to receive the automatic bids and how high a team would have to be ranked to get an automatic bid. I assume it all depends on how the conference championship games go. If the favorites all win, that leaves more spots open for at large bids.
