A team that respects their coach doesn't quit on them. This team had a lot to play for against Kentucky, and a few of the seniors have come out and stated they didn't want to be there. In their assessment, the team as a whole didn't want to be there. Players that respect each other do not quit on each other, period.
Poole is an example of a player who regressed this year. Our entire offensive line regressed this year. I will agree with you about the defense, some of them, especially on the line seemed to improve.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion as well...I just don't think you are very bright in this area. It is funny how many of you have responded just as I said you would. If you and a few others were half as intelligent and knowledgeable as you want others to believe, then you would respond with much less sarcasm and jabs, and start providing valid discussion points.
Maybe not, but I am certain I know at least as much as you.
Where did I not respond with valid discussion points? You tried to act as though your walk-on status gave you some special insight. I responded by giving you my insight as a scholarship athlete/letterman and being around the AD and other players. I asked how you could regress in talent and you respond with nothing, because it was unbelievably IGNORANT to say talent regressed. Talent really can't regress until you get older. Yeah, some get slower from year to year, but usually at the same time they are getting bigger and stronger. Poole's PRODUCTION slid off, but his talent is at least the same as it was last year as with anyone. He's just not a stud tailback.
We've seen teams quit from time to time for years. It's not necessarily indicative of guys not respecting the coach. It's indicative of character.
If you're going to make strong criticisms, be prepared to support those claims with some compelling support. You don't have it. In the end, you're the one that thought you were providing more intelligent analysis because of your jock sniffing walk on days at UT. Hit a nerve with the comment on Fulmer huh? LOL...but it's the truth, unfortunately
