If life was sacred, there would not be evil diseases like Tay-Sachs and Mermaid's Syndrome which are diseases developed during gestation. What did that "innocent and sacred" life do to deserve such a horrible fate?

There is no other reasonable conclusion that anybody with any intelligence could conclude.

Where in the bible does it say that life begins at concepnion? No, it is not common sense. Why do you draw the line at conception? Why not before? Where did I say "logically false"? I said Luke's birth narrative is historically false.

Also, I have based little to nothing on what the Bible says regarding abortion; most of that is coming from Krab. I am asking for your thoughts on the doctrine of the soul (a doctrine embraced by Christianity, by the way). You refuse to answer those questions because you are aware that you are in check and you would rather play for a stalemate than lose.

Not a difficult question, Krab.

One cannot prove either the existence of God or the non-existence of God. Thus, both possibilities are possible. If God exists, then anything follows from that. You could view this from a Hindu standpoint and say that actions in previous lives led to the suffering of an individual in their current life: that is, they earned their suffering. You could view it from a Judeo-Christian standpoint and say that going through this suffering is actually keeping these individuals from transgressing God's laws, and they will be rewarded with eternal bliss later.

Theodicies are hard to swallow but they are not incoherent.
