Obama's bracket

I love this country, am a veteran, taxpayer business owner and employer and I support this president. You can dislike and disagree with policy it's everyone's right to do so, but to spout anti-American at everyone you disagree with smacks of McCarthyism.

How you can find any positives regarding what Obama has done to this country is baffling.

If you support this lying moron of a president then you're anti American.

Really? I could just as easily say the same about you, but that is too sophomoric.
There is a process to fix anything you disagree with it's called voting. You vote and then you continue to work for your point of view, but what you are saying is 51+ percentage of voters are un-american because they don't agree with you.
All presidents lie, all politicians twist the truth for personal gain, that is the real world, I don't support 100% of anyone's agenda at this point. Those are points of view not anti-American activities.

holding up voting as a solution only works with an informed electorate. Do you think we have that in the US? Just because >50% believe something doesn't make it correct. Of course support for Obama is below that number so maybe people are waking up a bit and realizing cute campaign slogans with zero substance doesn't work. I'm still skeptical though since the support number is still way too high

the 2 party system most subscribe to is broken and unlikely to ever be fixed. They have a monopoly on power and their driving interest is not making the US a better place but is to maintain that power at all costs.

Totally agree with your last statement, to the others if you research it you will find that almost all presidents lose popularity in their second term, because it is a complicated job and people always expect easy answers so they get frustrated. As far as educated electorate who knows their is more news and information available now than ever before, much of it mis information. It's the most imperfect system in the world, but more perfect than any other system.

2009- 2013 Michelle Obama has traveled to 25 countries taking 14 trips for a total of 72 days.

2001-2005 Laura Bush traveled to 71 countries taking 26 trips for a total of 116 days.

How many people travel with each one?

Some people on this board just can't leave the Bush name out of the conversation when talking about Obama. It's now going on 6 years.....that's 6 years since W was in the WH & people still bring George W up doing this or that. Well, George & Laura went on 100 vacations while they were there in the WH & so Obama & his family does it everytime you turn around & that makes it okay? Just because......good grief. If Obama would actually do some work at being President it wouldn't be so bad for him I guess.

Actually Gramps just proved that GB and LB took more vacations than the Obamas. And are you going to argue that Bush did more when he was in office?

Gramps hasn't proved anything yet. You do know Obama isn't out of the WH yet? Obama has 3 more years to go......so don't put your head in the sand too far down in it just yet.

Who cares? If our president wants to take a lot of vacations dont you think he might deserve it. Ive heard being the president is a pretty stressful job.

GW went home to his ranch with Laura ,Moochelle and Barry often vacation separately or leave hours apart all at taxpayer expense . Moochelle is in china on our dime right now in a 8grand a night suite. If the economy was booming and gas was cheap and the labor participation rate wasn't at record lows I might feel differently.

Link? Also you do know the president makes a salary right? Not everything he does is "on our dime"
