Obama admin has done a good job managing the economic crisis of Bush

Obama did grant work permits to 5 million illegal folks. That's a good, as long as you aren't one of the 27 million currently unemployed.

Obama and Congress did that. True it was done via EO but congress could pass an immigration bill to stop that EO, they have chosen to let the EO be the law of the land. It was a way to get iimigration reform and allow Congress to claim to the uninformed it was all Obama's doing instead of doing their job and legislate.

Lutz my azz. Do the math.

I've done it.

Lower taxes means I kerp more of my money.
More money I have, the more I spend (along with every other working american)
More demand from consumers creates more jobs. More jobs means more revenue from all involved.

You libs don't understand it. Do you want a little from a lot. Or a little from a few.

You have to set the economy up to create. Not limit. You can only get so much blood from one cow, you need a lot more cows....

Good points.

Outside of the retail/service industry, I think you are wrong about creating jobs.

1. I am not a lib nor a far right wing conservative, thank God.

2. The government is a business. As with any business when that business spends more money than it brings in that leaves a negative balance.

3 . Tax cuts can be a very good thing but it was STUPID to cut taxes, start 2 wars plus the war on terror, open a new unneeded cabinet department, start the medicare prescription D program, etc. All under a R administration and congress.

How were we suppose to pay for all these added expenses while cutting revenue ?

Check history the R' s spends as much money as the D's . some on the right refuse to accept that fact. Neither side is fiscally conservative. The R are hypocrites in pretending to be. The D's at least say they are for spending big money.

Government is not a business, at least ours isn't. It has no power to create or produce anything of value. It only has the power to take.

The only thing government can create (using that word loosely) is an environment for success and job growth.

I'm not talking R's and D's (other than thought process) money is money.

Tax cuts give business's the opportunity to grow and expand. Which in return creates more jobs- more tax revenue from working folks.

They can't pay taxes if they are sitting on their ass drawing welfare.

I thought the majority of people drawing welfare also work?

I think higher wages would equal more people buying trucks, mowers, and etc.

It's all relative. More money in the pocket equals more spending. However higher wages leads to higher taxes and don't always result in more money in the pocket.

Where are all the jobs the W Tax cuts created ? Per Nasdaq a net of only 1,083,000 was created during his 8 years on office which is pathetic. That is an average of 11,282 jobs per month.

Records are easy to research.

Uh, I must have missed where I credited W for job creation?

I just pointed out that you were wrong (as usual) in the statement that government is a business.

Which is what you get with lower taxes..

Yep, essentially you are correct. I'm speaking about the fact that our wages have not grown with inflation. At the same time, workers are receiving less benefits from their employers. Would you agree?

Taxes are out of hand. I'm not arguing that.

So will the new majority move to fix our insane tax system? Is that less important than the keystone pipeline to you?

What's your solution? Force companies to pay more or keep them from moving to China? Maybe disband the stock market. Maybe set max prices on goods. Maybe force companies to use realistic metrics.

Correct, for the most part they have not. One major, actually the main cause is the uncertainty created by Obama and Obamacare.

No smart businessman is/was going to dump money into higher wages without knowing what and when Obamacare was going to cost them.

Oh I doubt it. They may pass some legislation in a veiled attempt, think smokescreen, knowing it will be DOA at Os desk.

No mainstream politician or party is going to drastically change the tax code. It would be ceding too much power in controlling the masses.

Unemployment was 3.5 to 4 percent for most of his term, which translates to pretty much full employment. And he didn't skew the figures like obama has not including the labor participation rate.

We are fortunate in that our CEO told us they had basically decided to eat the costs being imposed by Obamacare for this coming year and not raise our rates. I'm wondering how long that will last though once full implementation hits.

Yep, can we agree that our country is no longer a democracy/republic? Instead it's an oligarchy/political ruling class controlled state?
