The more expensive the sunglasses. The quicker they are broke or trashed.

lol , I guess I'm a redneck. I have a pair from when I played baseball. They were expensive. Still in pretty good shape.

I've had a pair of Holbrooks and oil rigs for a while now. Really durable. Whether you're responsible enough not to lose them is on you.

Don't wear them when you're drinking and that will help.

I am an Oakley fan. Being a racer, they have alot of gear that suits my style. Their shoes are great products as well. They are durable and last a long time. JMO.

put straps on them and you won't lose them. When it's dark, they hang from my rear view mirror. Ever since I started using the croakies, I've never lost or damaged a pair.

Even if you think it's dumb, I swear. They are the cheapest insurance plan.

I'd never buy Oaklies again. There are a lot of great glasses under $100. I would recommend those for a first non-cheap purchase. Also do buy croakies. I take them off when I go to bed and put them on when I wake up. You won't loose your glasses. Trust me.

I have had two pair of Arnett's and have loved both pair. They are cheaper than Oakley's and they are the same quaility. I will have to agree on the croakies too. I bought some right before we went on our cruise (this summer) and have loved them ever since.

I have a pair of Oakley Half-Jackets that I use for high energy stuff like volleyball/skiing/etc. They're very light and stay where they belong. They also have interchangeable lenses of which I have two pair depending on conditions. For this purpose I have been quite happy with them for years now.

Now, for just good sunglasses my favorite pair are from Costa Del Mar with the 580 glass lens. (you do not play VB on these)

Great choice, I love the Harpoons
Tortoise shell with the blue lenses

I've got a pair of Half Jacket XL 2.0's, wear them all the time. The polarized lenses are worth the extra cost.

best pair I ever owned was a set of Revo's that were amazing. Not great for doing anything active in though. I wear Oakley Gascans now and they're perfect. Only time I ever put a strap on them is when I'm on a boat. Even then I don't worry about them much

I currently have a pair of Maui Jims. Before that I had Costa Del Mar and WileyX. I liked the look of the Costa Mirror finish, but their coatings weren't as durable as the MJs.

The next pair of shades I get, I want to try Kaenon out. I have a few friends who love them.

Depends on what you do. For any kind of motorsport, cycling, or if you often have to look at digital screens, full polarization is not a good thing.
