When someone in business gives you something valuable for free, *you* (or your influence) are the thing they are buying with it. There are a dozen good reasons why university people might leak/disseminate info through social media. Vol Twitter is a weapon...for good and evil. Ditto for message boards. Use them well, or have them used against you.
I agree. Also think there's "2 birds" here tho. 79 made a lot out of how "down to earth" AV is despite who he turned out to be. Honestly think the guy just really enjoys being around fans.
1 of the most respectable traits, imo.
Well, OB will be surprised to learn that the booster he met on this message board, got him on field access, introduced him to the coaches by name and gave him the full tour..
1. Either really doesn't post here.
2. Doesn't really know the coaches he introduced his family to and doesn't have any of that access.
That's a hell of a theory you got there![]()
Absolutely how many recruits have said one of the reasons they picked UT is because they trusted the coaches. There's a recruit that was going to sign with Mizzou, but decided to go with Arkansas at the last minute because coach Drinkititz (however you spell it) lied to him about what position he would play.
Atlanta Vol is definitely one of those people. I don't care if he ever gives us one piece of info.Hes done alot of over the top nice things for some less fortunate folks on this board.I wasn't speaking to AV specifically, only that the pathological Insider Derangement Syndrome folks are apparently ignoring several larger business truths. As for AV and other philanthropists, it's just Maslow's pinnacle on display. Sometimes successful people are just darn nice and love doing things for others.
.... But more often successful people are the type to step on small children to get a look over the crowdSometimes successful people are just darn nice and love doing things for others.
But we didn’t. We hated it...didn’t lose a single server. So you REALLY hate the recruiting forum, huh? Why you here?
