End of the day, if he signed with us, cool. If he chose UGA, we're still fine. All that really matters. DW doesn't really make or break this class. Sure, he could improve our rankings, but where it counts, out there on the field, we're gonna be just fine no matter his choice.id be cool with it, even if he picked Ga, pruitt knows the future is unpredictable. I was just surprised we didnt get a sentence from Hubbs like.. "we still dont know on darnell washington. Been rumored he signed but wants to keep it private until january"
Absolutely how many recruits have said one of the reasons they picked UT is because they trusted the coaches. There's a recruit that was going to sign with Mizzou, but decided to go with Arkansas at the last minute because coach Drinkititz (however you spell it) lied to him about what position he would play. But we're at a point where the recruit has made clear he wants privacy. They're going to give it to him because they rely on relationships with recruits to do their jobs. If recruits don't think they can be trusted, it affects their job.
feel the same way, was thinking tho who on our roster would cover him. he's leonard pope big and oj howard fast with Jason Witten handsEnd of the day, if he signed with us, cool. I know he signed yesterday, I said he would even when he tweeted he wouldn’t. As for the latter, you know I’m not answering that, he has three good choices between UT, UA, and UGA. It’s his moment, he waited (and worked) this long to have it.
Not sure why this is hard to understand. An "insider" is simply someone who has access to information that others don't, usually through a relationship. That information is only as good as the originator. If I had a personal relationship with Moose, I would know what he allowed me to know, and even that would only be as good as what he himself knew. To the extent that a) the recruit isn't misleading Moose, and b) Moose was wiling to share what he knew, an insider could bring good info. I'm certain that more than one person on here has relationships with people who know more than the general public. Sometimes those people share info with the "insider". Less often, the info share is actually factual. There is a non-zero set of people who bring info others don't have. That info is neither 100% correct, nor 0% correct. Judge for yourself.

A known UGA insider? Lmao. Maybe he guessed right. Maybe he didn’t. I’m sure he will continue his schtick if he did. And people will continue to buy it.So the only person who said he would sign yesterday before it was 'confirmed' by DWs tweet is a known UGA 'insider'? That pretty much tells you everything you need to know. It's UGA. Time to move on folks.
I like this kid. I like him a lot
A LOT
We are Well in it with this kid. He is playing the game right now so let him do what he needs to.
Well because we talk...
silently in the lead here...don’t let the smoke fool you.
We are in great shape with DW....have been for a while.
Don’t forget this kid needs to play the game...there is a reason for all this UGA love.
how you feeling @Atlanta VOL UGA to lose now?
I feel GREAT
How do you feel?
I think I already answered that one a little bit ago.
Which one do you want it to be. I am not up on my Dr suess
I already told you this. Let him do his thing....
We gotta wait until December?
Don’t believe so
I see he made in the exact order i thought he would
Have you all ever seen the shell game up in NYC?
It’s a possibility. We still have a long way to go with AG considering the other player involved. But very possible
Bass are you going to the game this weekend?
When a kid tells me he is coming...s...I will post it as absolute...I have to believe them regardless of the fact that I know the rug could get swept out from under us at any moment. And usually when that happens its rare we hear about it directly from the source before hand. So we live with the cards we are dealt. Same goes for what the coaches are told.
I love us here....
Hasn’t been here since spring huh.......![]()
We will get the last visit...that usually doesn’t happen if we are out of it does it?
Yeah speaking of at some point i have to tell you that DW story from last year....was going to be my first story for that podcast
We working on some news!
So are we still slated to get his last OV?
Yes
And others perhaps.
Huge. UOV from Vegas
callahan
Vol
Don’t know how the rest of the class will turn out. But we’re gonna land this guy, I believe.
Nothing has changed from any of my previous comments about this one.
I suspect we will hear some positive things later this week....
You may not have the stomach for recruiting.....![]()
staff visited him this week
vq
Yes however much of it was not reported...but everything is going as predicted.
He is signing early but will commit later is the plan.
Relax....gotta milk those cows
Negative on 6
We win just as many recruiting battles as we lose, if not more. We always turn out a top 15 or better class National. The difference now is we have a coaching staff that actually develops talent. I want the Washington, Sewell, Smalls, Jarret, and the Gilberts of the world. (All of which had legitimate interest right before the Georgia State game.) I have a feeling we start landing those guys next year, because the staff has proven they can develop talent. We won't have Kirby and the gang gaining ground on recruits due to negative recruiting. I highly doubt we start 1-4 next year as well. It just is what it is this year, and it does seem really slow. Lets see what happens after this weekend when coaches hit the road recruiting after the Vandy game. If you follow this forum long enough, you understand it's the long game that matters. We get most of our commitments in the summer, and December, with the possibility of a few flips in January. Everything else is generally dead periods.
The interview was with Kipp Adams a 247 Uga dude. What do yall expect DW to say to him? Of course he's gonna put Uga at the top of the list..
Everyone relax...deep breath and enjoy the ride. Remember these kids get off on creating as much drama as possible which in turn increases other things for them. Be happy knowing I was just given clearance out of 702 a few hours ago.
I see Weinke changing and maybe rocker...rest probably safe. Have to remember a good number of these guys are not going anywhere unless Pruitt goes somewhere....
You did that not me
He’s not going anywhere I can assure you. Just making a point how tight he is with some of his assistants.
Do you think JP has proverbially unpacked his bags here? I really do feel like he may be the right guy for the program
100%
Would expect to hear about staff being with him shortly...
Nieds is an OG
Per RC:
- Saban going in-home today.
- UGA is the perceived leader.
Sounds like that 12/13 visit will be big if we want to land him.
If you listen to the VQ pod it sounds like this dude a vol
Tried to tell everyone that. Our confidence should be high.
- AL 247
ain’t happening....
And we will be in vegas this week too....
IF he picks UGA, he was always predetermined to do so...not because they’re suddenly motivated. Kid’s a different kind imo. He KNOWS where he’s going and is having fun with this whole process.
Smart man
Coley is not going anywhere.
Lane has no shot here....none
I stopped at page 132 because that was last Friday. I did this because of the 25 page debate. You can decide to judge it however you wish. This is what AV has said. I added a few other quotes from well known posters to give context.I have never waivered...and told y’all for months we were always the leader here no matter what any reporters or recruiting experts or the kid said in public and that never changed. I also told you i knew why all the UGA love was coming in and I can share that after this is over....but the fact is we still lead and we just need to close the chapter on this book this weekend. Could it change...of course but right now my volmeter is at 90%.
Now get out there and show this kid and his family some TN love at the Mem game.
That's a lot of homework. I'm tempted to count how many posts are added to this thread before we get posts that ignore it, or didn't read it, and start up the same discussions we've had several times already.I stopped at page 132 because that was last Friday. I’m thinking this too. Using UGA and UT as a smokescreenThis has Alabama written all over it. Apparently yesterday during his press conference Saban referenced having more signees who didn't want to be made public yet and it wouldn't shock me at all if he flips out of nowhere to Bama. I hope I'm wrong.
Most if not all "insiders" are just taking information from other boards and posting it on here as if they themselves "heard" it. Of course there are lots of people who have relationships with the staff, work on the staff, or donate to the university in large sums, but they aren't posting on a free internet message board.
Even if he does go to UGA he’ll just be another 5 star that gets wasted there
