Miami is legit interest, he loves the #1 TE that went there, from Las Vegas. If Hartley was still at UM, he’d be a Cane. Jordan had a good night last Saturday, if they played like him, they would have won. I’d pay attention to @Big Gucci Sosa, he’s right on everything he just said on this page, Expect more CBs and let’s see what he does late September, early October as far as making a decision.

TN is in it thick for Gilbert.

Miami has just always seemed like that school where everyone takes OVs there but nobody actually goes to. Jordan did have a great game and I could see the appeal he would have toward their whole “TEU” thing. I just feel like with that disaster of an OL and lack of depth in places like secondary, they’re in for a pretty bad season. Add that on top of a rookie head coach and a young QB, and it could get rough, which would probably sway his interests. I think he’ll pick UGA ultimately but it’s not already a done deal.

You guys remember the perception around BJ's commitment? "Lock to Georgia" "He Gone"? This dude is a VOL. Wait on it.

This is a totally different battle. BJ was not a high priority for UGA. Washington is. BJ was slow played, DW is a take for any school in the country.

yeah. this.

that said, BJ was a take for pretty much any other school in the SEC not named UGA or Bama....so i wouldn't downplay it too much.

Reality is it's still August. Idgaf who he's trending with now, where the CB's are going to now, blah blah blah. We've all seen in play out a thousand times. Kids will "trend" one way one day, then a week (let alone 4-5 months) later he's all in on someone else. Recruiting is a really stupid thing to follow but yet here I am....

That was Hank South, he says they are all in on Gilbert now.
fantastic. sigh.

lol.

these two....their recruitment has been weird. i would have bet a pay check that AG was an absolute certainty to UGA and that Washington was the one that was up for grabs. and now we're saying it's the opposite. we've had insiders talk about basically zero chances with AG, but better than average odds with Washington.

anyway...it's recruiting so things change, that's fine. lol.

i don't think i could hazard a guess at this point, but if you're telling me that we have a legit shot at landing AG............cool w/me. sign me up. i thought it was sort of important that we get one of these two.....

Bama is Bama, but if you're telling me it's just us against them, i think we have a good shot given our connections to AG.

AV seems super high on our chances with DW, so in the same respect....sign me up.

as long as we get one of them......................

Idc what nobody says that’s twice that were listed number one u can say it ain’t in order or whatever but I definitely feel we are lowkey number one niedermeyer got this

In last Friday’s five-star heat check I wrote that I believed Georgia is the one to beat for tight end target Darnell Washington.

With Washington putting out his top three of the Bulldogs, Tennessee and Miami on Monday evening, I went ahead and forecasted UGA for the Las Vegas (Nev.) Desert Pines standout.

I believe Washington is closest with the coaches and Athens and Georgia commits collectively at this point in the process. Todd Hartley is leading the charge on the trail and Washington has really connected with UGA quarterback commit Carson Beck.

The 6-foot-7 1/2, 261-pound Washington has been on Georgia’s campus several times and he’s expected back for the Notre Dame game.
Wiltfong on his CB

Georgia is in my top two. Maybe my top one. I cannot say too much," Washington said. "They are pretty high up there right now. You got Georgia. You got Tennessee. You got Miami. I think those are the top three."

"Everything about Georgia stands out right now. When they first offered they kept talking to me. Most schools would offer, stop talking, them come back in. Georgia never stopped coming after me. So they have some momentum. It is just about me taking my time and actually thinking about where I am going. I am not saying they have me, I just have not thought about it at all. I am going to start doing that and go from there."
