If Nu'Keese had not been dismissed from the team, would he had prospere under Dooley?

The only question i have about Nu'keese is for Kiffin. Why in the world after that 40 yard run from the NUKE package on play number 1 against Auburn did you not go back to it at any time. Am I the only one who thought try it on em at least once more.

Amen. He almost took it the distance.

Two things after watching that video...Those jerseys look so much better than our '10 jerseys, and the all orange uniform look is so sick.

I like all orange under the lights. I'm not a part of the crowd who thinks they're cursed or whatever. I'm not sure which jersey I like better though.

I Have to agree with you Aavoxx. Leadership was needed for this football program and Kiffin was not what Nukeese or anybody else needed. I often ask what would life be like if Dooley would have been hired first.

Nukeese would've never come here if Dooley were hired first.

That was kind of my point. Dooley might of been what Nu'Keese needed to turn it around. A strong character and disciplinarian running the show.

Janzen messed up one time and is at heart a good kid, which you can tell my hearing him talk.

Dooley might have kept Keese out of trouble, but he would still be a thug. I don't see Dooley pulling a 180 on anyones character, no matter how important an attribute it is to him.

Nuke = JJ
Both were thugs
Fortunate for JJ he was the better football player

really? JJ a thug? seriously? a kid, let me say that again a KID gets caught up in a stupid situation and he is a thug? reserve that word for 25 year old men who sell crack for a living, not a kid who is getting an education and who has really put in work to get to where he is..

I think Nuke could have turned it around, but there was probably the same chance that he would have corrupted more kids and caused more trouble.

Lol no, since when did getting in trouble once make you a thug?

I got OSS once in middle school, then got mr. congeniality in high school. too bad I'm a thug.

I don't know how much a coaching change would have affected him (if anything, he probably wouldn't have stayed).

I think getting him was a great decision, and I think sending him packing was the correct move.

All three should have been kicked off- those who think JJ did not get preferential treatment are simply fools.
By the way, I used thugs in past tense hoping he has changed and wish him the best.

Nuke played out of position here. He is an outstanding corner and had seven picks last year in juco.

clarify: how does one become a thug (from one situation) then not be a thug? should they even been labeled as thug in the first place? is austin johnson a thug for what he did a couple of weeks ago?

I believe he would be productive on the field. No way he could stay after armed robbery. the kid does have football talent, just poor life judgment.

And to compare PI to robbery is idiotic

I agree whole heartedly with everything you said.. We are in the minority on this site though. If JJ wasn't an all american he would be a "punk" like nu keese

haha u made me laugh, and i have to finally agree with u on one thing.. armed robbery during a routine weed purchase is thuggish.. i mean a man cant buy his weed or sell his weed and come away happy? but back to the disagreement.. my sweet Grandmother always told me growing up in Memphis, TN (home of the dirtiest thugs of TN) a sin is a sin, God made laws, Man made laws we all must abide by them..so if ur logic of comparing a PI to a robbery is idiotic, i guess comparing murder and lying is idiotic too.. in God's Eyes

Hey, you got both Teague and Newkeys from UF. Remember? Teague we wanted and lost honestly--his Mom wanted him in Knoxville. Newkeys was never even cared about by any UF fans I know. Frankly, we thought you guys were making fools of yourself by the silly pretense of faxing the LOI. I actually felt sorry for you before the robbery with that embarrassing charade. Of course, Teague is your best CB. Urban wanted him and wanted him as a CB not a WR. You do know, of course, that NewKeys wanted to be an EE at UF and only turned to UT after he was denied EE, don't you?

And, oh yes, you should thank your lucky stars that Kiffen left and you got a competent coach who reflects well on your university.

In fact, perhaps a better question is this: "Would NewKeys have avoided crime and had a decent college career if he had stayed at UF and been coached by Meyer."

so it wasnt b.c Kiffin had the hot hand drawing in recruits?(legally or illegally)... Btw Teague is one hell of a football player but our BEST CB? after just one year of playing DB? not likely..

im sorry how many kids had criminal charges against them while Urb was there? so to answer ur question, urb would probably encouraged the kid to rob someone then played him on Saturdays..
