If Nu'Keese had not been dismissed from the team, would he had prospere under Dooley?

Dude, if a person is ignorant enough to commit or participate in armed robbery...no coach could have saved him. If he hadn't done that, then something else would have happened eventually.

why not, changing variables in life can change its outcome. Speculative, but I say maybe he would have turned out differently. I think kiffy somewhat encouraged some of the invincible "I can do whatever I want" attitude of the players.

If Nu'Keese had managed to avoid the huge lapse of judgement, would he had prospered under Dooley? I think we can all agree that if the infamous Pilot incident had not occurred, and Kiffin had not bolted for USC and remained head coach, that it was just a matter of time before some other incident would of landed him in trouble.

I cite the Janzen Jackson case as proof that Nu'Keese might of been able to show better judgement under Dooley and been an outstanding player for us.

If anyone is wondering, this is what prompted this thread.

Um, the word is that he was actin' a fool quite a few times since his arrest. I'm pretty sure has had multiple chances, and the only reason for that is that he wasn't kicked to the curb is because he is the most talented player on the team.

"the word is"...."I'm pretty sure". Yep, convicted. Case closed. :eek:lol:

All three should have been kicked off- those who think JJ did not get preferential treatment are simply fools.
By the way, I used thugs in past tense hoping he has changed and wish him the best.

Your idea of thug is laughable. BTW, what do you think of the kids who got "robbed"? Are they also thugs?

I ask because it is obvious that the kids who got robbed were selling a bag of pot to JJ, Nuke and Edwards. Something went wrong....probably a skimpy bag or lousy pot and the rest is history.

Definitely a bad situation but to act like it isn't fairly common is ridiculous. Kids make mistakes and I bet JJ never gets involved in anything like that again.

In fact, perhaps a better question is this: "Would NewKeys have avoided crime and had a decent college career if he had stayed at UF and been coached by Meyer."

I think we all know the answer to this. Based on Meyer's record with arrests/punishment I'm guessing that Nuke would be on trial for murder by now if he went to FU.

Might wanna do a bit of research on the gators arrest record while he was there. I think 26 players or so got arrested.

i wonder if somehow all the drama that surrounded nuke, in regards to the pahokee and cheating comments made by CLK, had an adverse effect on the kid? No excuse for any of his actions but sometimes wonder had he just come in without al the hype had that been better for him

I was going to say something dumb, but if anybody could have done it Dooley could have! Man I forgot all the plays he made!@!#$
All I can say is if he were still here you could probably erase all of those muffed punts during last season.
I agree!

so it wasnt b.c Kiffin had the hot hand drawing in recruits?(legally or illegally)... Btw Teague is one hell of a football player but our BEST CB? after just one year of playing DB? not likely..
he is not far behind our best.

It was a pratical joke gone bad.Thats what it was. JJ didn't know about it Nuke and the other kid did. It kills me when we have self righteous people(I have never been in trouble with the law but young kid deserve a second chance!) that want to say things like this, and probably have many skeletons in their closet.

really? JJ a thug? seriously? a kid, let me say that again a KID gets caught up in a stupid situation and he is a thug? reserve that word for 25 year old men who sell crack for a living, not a kid who is getting an education and who has really put in work to get to where he is..
Best Post so far today
