Do you think they were saying the same thing about Dan Marino after his career going to Pitt.
If he wins this years Super Bowl and maybe another while getting 15 million+ a year to be a QB till he's 38-40. With all those rings, money, prestige, fame, greatness why go back and have the head ache of doing a job day in day out when you have 200 million in the bank and can go to the Bahamas and make about the same as a college coach while sitting in CBS studios throwing a couple soundbytes around.
It makes no sence to me and I think everyone is simply wishfully thinking he'll come here and coach. Think about it if you accomplished the highest goal in sports and had 200 million in the bank and could pretty much do anyhting you wanted when it came to football jobs you're going to go to the grind of being a College coach? Where you have to be responsible for players and have to hear fans grumble if you don't win.
I don't get it. At All and I expect many "Ohhh he loves the game such a competitor" Thats great and all but after time you'll just want to go away and just enjoy what you've done.
