No, we lost more than we gained. Not even close. We got rid of some dead weight, but we also lost some very key players on both sides of the ball that will start wherever they go. We got some people that couldn't break the two deep at other schools.Sounds like an upgrade to me. Addition by subtraction.

Gray may start but he is far from a complete running back. The running back room appears good, I believe we will be better than last year. HT will not start if he plays like he did last year. We are better off without the players who are no longer here. If not from a talent perspective than definitely from a team chemistry perspective. No, we lost more than we gained. Not even close. I'd start with "who" left. How many starters, key players?

True, on shedding these players we purged some people who obviously didn't want to participate in a new process which is where we find ourselves. And yet life will go on.
Nothing wrong with looking at the facts and the facts always have more than on side.
Yeah, I ain't celebrating the trade out, but it seems we've upgraded overall on kids that want to be here and to repeat myself, there ain't nothing wrong with looking at both sides.True, on shedding these players we purged some people who obviously didn't want to participate in a new process which is where we find ourselves.
And while I believe we aren't as talented as last year we may have some people that are bought in, engaged and that can close the talent gap.
It will be interesting to see where we are 3 or 4 games into the season. We'll certainly know more then.
I've missed those, what's the synopsis of those posts.Yeah, I ain't celebrating the trade out, but it seems we've upgraded overall on kids that want to be here and to repeat myself, there ain't nothing wrong with looking at both sides.
I agree it's going to be interesting and I imagine pretty exciting. Just hope there's some wins mixed in the interesting excitement.
And Id prefer these type of threads over the crap AL79 has been saturating the board with.
