I defy you to cite any post by me that trashed Lady Vol coaches or players. I may have lamented Holly's ineptitude towards the end of her tenure, by pointing out factual evidence of a lack of excellence. If you were in the camp that called anything less than obsequious approval “nega-vol”, then we would have disagreed. I don't recall any head butting, but you are welcome to provide evidence if any exists.

You were a hater for years and yes, I didn't put up with it. You gave me a lot of crap for not aligning with the Nega Vols who tool over most of the forum during that time frame (middle of Holly to end of Kellie) Look it up yourself if you need reminding. Just scroll past my posts in the future. You won't find coach/player hate to entertain you.

I sincerely hope not.

Folks love our State Flag which flies below Old Glory and above our State House dome. It is said to be the 2nd most recognizable state flag next to the Lone Star of Texas. It has major historical significance. The palmetto tree is our state tree because the spongy palmetto logs of Fort Moultrie absorbed the British cannon balls resulting in our first victory during the Revolutionary War ( Battle of Sullivans Island aka Battle of Charleston ). The gallant defenders of Fort Moultrie wore the crescent gorget on their helmets and blue uniforms. It was never a moon. The gorget is an ancient military ornament originating from neck armor.

You have overstepped the bounds of courtesy. This space was created to discuss basketball, not to engage in uncivil discourse. Not everyone understands the precept that trolls not fed will seek other venues to irritate otherwise sincere social interaction. I’ve held back and tried to remain in “ignore those uncivil” mode but you got me.

Enjoy your day. Hopefully you can find a way to remain civil and avoid interaction with those prone to engage in uncivil discourse.

There are some things that get better during Summer, but the vacuum that is created each
Summer with a relatively lack of Lady Vols news tends to create some of the most ridiculous interactions of the year. I can't wait for the season to start so we can watch the LVs again and have more interactions about what is happening on the court rather than how much can one trash a whole state and its human beings.

It's strange that we didn't but now in a world of media greed the only place to discuss Gamecock WBB is in sites that charge $99 a year. If you want to discuss any sports topic now.... the non-pay sites are a thing of the past. The 2 most successful WBB programs (Tennessee and UCONN) are the only free 'team' designated forums that I am aware of for WBB. Cockytalk died years ago because the guy got tired of running it, but it didn't have a WBB forum. That's why I love this site and this thread title. It sometimes gets petty but for the most part it's informative.

I may hate the LVs as a UConn fan but as a WBB fan I respect the organization. :)

I always get nervous when I start thinking about season expectations. I do think with the roster we have, and baring no injuries (knock on wood), there is a very good chance to get back to the FF. Beyond that … I don’t like to bring about jinxes. 😂
