Noise Level at Neyland is DANGEROUS

It is LOUD at Neyland but damaging to your ears seems a bit extreme. The loud music high schools & colleges play before the game is louder and much more damaging (not to mention annoying and unnecessary!) There is nothing like a loud Neyland Stadium & I do my part...screaming, clapping and stomping in the upper deck. It was funny to see the little sissy bama fan had to cover her ears. I've been to Bbam & Tuscalooser & when people call them loud and intimidating I laugh. Bama is silent compared to Neyland. Fla is loud & A&M was loud but not Neyland loud. We as Vol fans should be proud of this!

Tell them to start selling earplugs or ear protection, that'll just be another revenue generator!

I actually do wish they would do this. A lot of concert and sporting venues do. I enjoy the noise, but I have been at the game a few times with people who are a little more sensitive about noise and this has affected their enjoyment of the game. Obviously we don't want less crowd noise, so having ear plugs available for sale seems like a simple solution. If they make a few bucks off of it, great.

114 db can do permanent damage in a very short amount of time. So yes, the noise in Neyland can do damage.

Oh my God this is so pathetic. It's not rocket science, wear ear protection if you're hurting... Smh

Between Neyland stadium and Bristol Motor Speedway, it's no wonder my hearing isn't what it used to be.

Ask Chiefs fans if they gaf. Arrowhead is no joke loud. It's a badge of honor to be the loudest venue in the NFL.

Was there in 2014 year when they broke the DB level. Can personally vouch for it's loudness.

Although, last year I was also at the Oklahoma vs Tennessee game and it was also loud, just not quite as loud as Arrowhead.

What is more dangerous is sitting next to a fat guys who eats 3 bowls of Petros with extra beans

Or the drunk redneck that pukes behind you after slurring curse words at Saban for a half (true story from this year's Bama game). At least the wind blew the smell toward the Bama section.
