Pushing is legal, pulling isn't. Look it up. Fant pulls him forward, obviously.He. Wasn’t. Down. And that occurs. On. Every. Running plays into a pile.
I'm just quoting the rule and watching the video.Again... grasping at straws. You are the only one across so many different fan bases that feels this way. Go back and watch the game. You’ll see it on so many different plays.
I posted the rule. No one seems to care. You can't pull a player, only push from behind.
SECTION 3. Blocking, Use of Hands or Arms
Who May Block
ARTICLE 1. Players of either team may block opponents, provided it is not
pass interference, interference with the opportunity to catch a kick or a personal
foul (Exception: Rules 6-1-12 and 6-5-4).
Interfering for or Helping the Ball Carrier or Passer
ARTICLE 2. a. The ball carrier or passer may use their hand or arm to ward off
or push opponents.
b. The ball carrier shall not grasp a teammate; and no other teammate shall
grasp, pull, or lift the ball carrier to assist in forward progress. (A.R. 9-3-2-I)
c. Teammates of the ball carrier or passer may interfere with opponents by
blocking but shall not use interlocked interference by grasping or encircling
one another in any manner while contacting an opponent.
PENALTY—Five yards [S44].
Add these to the list…. 1st and goal at the 3 and instead of running it… they pass and get sacked back to the 10. :35 or so left in the first half with the offense not executing worth a crap….. take a knee and get to halftime …, but no…. Fumble give them a TD.We did not tackle the Purdue tight end on that sideline play and that is what cost Tennessee the ball game.

It was, which was why I looked it up.That is true, but they did not call pulling. I don’t even think players should push the runner, I may be wrong but think that was illegal years ago.
