For how long?

Given the price bump, the fact that they haven't fixed the drift issue, after last gen and multiple lawsuits, is a deal breaker IMO. I don't care what they do to "take care of it".
I'd have to go look, I just remember seeing it around launch.

I think during someone's break down, it's the same mechanism as the original design.

I'm surprised that Nintendo didn't opt for Hall Effect joysticks, especially on the Pro Controller but also for the Joy-Cons given the immense problems with stick drift on the first console. Seems like an own goal.

On a lighter note, how is everyone liking the Switch 2? I haven't played it too much but Mario Kart World definitely grew on me. Really hated the Tony Hawk-esque "innovation" at first, and still do, but the game is definitely still very playable, fun and winnable if you're not jumping your cart onto rails/walls.

Hopefully they'll come out with a Switch 2 Lite. Never had issues with my lite and it's been through "the wars" for me and my daughter. Replaced joy cons on the regular Switch 3 times and it's used way less.

But I'm seriously considering going to a Rog Ally instead. It'll be the end of an era, as I've owned every main Nintendo console since the NES. But they keep doing stuff that sticks in my craw lately

We'll see if I break when Metroid or the next Zelda comes out.
