He is just trying to take some of the heat off his arss. You can not convince me that he would hire the best coaches available if he was rebuilding a program.

That was my thought. It's a pretty dainty look to complain about your employees bettering themselves. And it's pretty self-aggrandizing to say/think that the free market shouldn't be in play because it affects you.

Both of these guys preaching ethics reminds me of two programs crying about not getting calls. Wait, those are the same guys. Pattern? Poor babies. Are there any programs we hate more than Patriots and Bama? I think not.

Exactly. And you know, the more I think about this, the more I think it’s a shot at Fulmer for hiring Pruitt. That loss hurt him bad this year and he knows it. And Fulmer doesn’t care at all what nick Saban says about him, he just wants to win too.
