So for Nick it is ok if he gets guys from other staffs but don't come offer his guys a promotion to get them to come to your staff.

maybe he will cry when someone finally offers Butch a job and he has to get a new coffee/wax my car boy.
He wants to reset and give Butch back.

You may want to read it again. He clearly calls out Tennessee and Georgia by name.

"It’s one thing that I always try to emphasize to the guys: what I have a tough time with, aight, is we’ve had however many guys who have worked here who are at Georgia, Tennessee -- whoever, wherever -- is when they get those jobs, and in most cases you’ve helped them, is they have a hard time understanding why they can’t take your people.”
That bet was off when he hired ******* IBJ for beans.

Thanks, you are right - don’t know how I overlooked “..Georgia, Tennesse..”

Nick is delusional. As a courtesy, a coach (Pruitt or Smart) probably shouldn’t directly poach his mentor’s people. But, once guys have left and worked another job, there is nothing wrong with hiring them. That’s not messing with his staff because the guy isn’t part of his staff!

i agree to some extent. But if their job is so rosy cozy, why would they leave to join first year coaches, especially to Tennessee?

In the case of Weinke, why stay under crybaby Satan when your career is moving upward (analyst to Position coach)?

Who gives a RATS AZZ with cry baby Nick thinks? He can kiss my ORANGE AZZ. He pisses me off. He cries when things don't go his way. But, he sees nothing wrong with things when the shoe is on the other foot. Grow the hell up you big baby. He is not as near as important as he thinks he is. His opinion on ANYTHING outside of the chit hole state of Alabama doesn't matter!

What Bama assistants, besides himself, did Pruitt take? Nick’s doing a Kirby here, making excuses.

I really think it was a click bait article without any real Saban-Pruitt context. Pruitt didn't take any of Saban's assistants, and I can't see even Saban making the claim with respect to Ansley. "Reporting" just ain't what it used to be ... and maybe never was.

I’ve always thought of analysts as temps with everybody understanding that they are gone as soon as a coaching position opens.

Not sure which saddens and concerns me more, Saban whining about coaches being poached, or him whining about Bama getting penalized for having too many players on the field at the end of the Auburn game.

He said the penalty at the end of the Auburn game was "not fair". I immediately thought about Brandon Kennedy who Saban tried to block from playing for UT last year although BK was a grad transfer and would have been 2nd team at Bama if he stayed there. Saban smugly took the position that "rules were rules" when there was still a rule against intra SEC transfers. Thankfully, the intra SEC transfer rule was then changed and BK became immediately eligible.

Basically, Saban is starting to look/sound like a neanderthal, and he can GTFOH with his hypocritical discussions of what is fair and what is not.

I hope Saban and all of Alabama builds a great hate for Jeremy Pruitt so they won't poach him from us when Saban hangs it up. As for the specifics of this accusation, we didn't really take his guys. If a guy is coaching with the Raiders then he's not working under Saban.
