Dear Lady, there seems to be a secret society of 'cool kids' that I obviously don't qualify for and although I thoroughly enjoyed the Gruden threads, for personal reasons of diversion, it was plain as day.

To fail to come back and offer what transparency they could they chose to remain aloft. Excuse my French but F'em. Some of them, not MIT, but regular posters I put some faith in always knowing that humans will always fail you, in some regard, if you're around them enough. However, "cowards" is the word that comes to mind for me.

Oh well, as I frequently say at work, I’m so out of the loop that I don’t even know where the loop is.

Or in the case of our recent little adventure, if there is a loop at all.

But I agree with Doyle, it was more fun than brooding over the sorry state of the football program.

I fully understand that some might have walked away, and I'm not throwing rocks at them. I don't think that this has happened with everyone.

Why have the semi-insiders (not those who were supposedly in the inner circle, but those who were in communication with them) stopped posting on VN ?

Because it's the holidays and because we've hired a Coach. I left a post saying I was going to be on here less and I'm on twitter more than here. Sorry ya'll...those 7 weeks were draining and time consuming.

Right, I remember. And ‘Boro said he was waiting to see how the hire went. That’s how it goes, I guess.

It’s weird, when for a while it seemed like all these posters were in my living room. Now it’s just hubs, me, the cat, and occasionally the Tiny Terror (grandson.)

A lot fewer empties to pick up in the morning, though!

VFLnSFD was (per her posts) in contact with him and reported that he said that he had access issues and was working with Freak. He hasn’t posted since 12/4 or so after the supposed accidental lockout, which I never believed in, btw. I was a mod for a number of years on an unrelated forum, and I know how this works.

And SFD hasn’t posted for a week or so either, I think, so I think she has followed through on her vow to walk away. (Not saying at all that she is part of this whole Wizard of Oz shenanigans; only that she has reclaimed her life.)

His account goes back to the first Gruden threads. Here are the options:
— were his current posts legit continuations by the original UTVolinExile?
— or did someone hack an old account without his knowledge, take it over, and start posting?
— or did the original UTVolinExile hand over his account to someone else, as did Paul_Vol or whatever his name was, to someone in the MIT_Beaver category, and let them post under his name?

We Grudenites put a lot of faith in his interpretations of the supposed contract negotiations and insider phone calls and all the other tidbits that he posted.

If he was just another farcical account manipulating us into starting the ReVolution, I am beyond pissed. The ends do NOT justify the means. I would have been all on board with the revolt. You didn’t have to lie to me. I posted this as a reply to MIT_Beaver, btw, and never received a reply. Let’s all go be surprised about that.

I think that those of us who acted upon the posts by these guys deserve some explanation or at least (please pardon the overworked term) closure from our puppeteers.

Someone let me know that I was spoken of, so I thought I'd pop in to say hello, I've reclaimed my beloved productivity, and I'm still in touch with your male twin (who is still, inexplicably, locked out).

We weren't played. Much of what we learned here was absolutely true. Heartbreaking that Currie and Haslam let if crash down around all of us. Maybe people aren't in here posting because there isn't anything left to say?

I agree with GV...if nothing else, we had a ton of fun while everyone else wallowed in misery.

The person in question, would post if he could. No explanation as to why was given.

I don't post much or spend alot of my life on line. I don't have time or the inclination to play mind games on the interwebz.
