Membership at Cherokee, a jet, $10.3 plus $7MM for assistants...were all accepted and if anyone dared raise a hand, those 4 magical letters were used and used often.

After a while it got so convoluted there was no way to unravel the ball of crap.

What's sad is a good poster, IMO, (Deerpark) was basically ran off by the Grudenites because they chose to back Beav and once Beav tweeted something about DP and Adidas this place went nuts.

It sucks, but it's the world we live in now. It's the mindset of torch everything in your path.

I always thought Beaver was a troll, but a troll that had some info. I concluded he was a bartender, maybe Ivan, at the golf course in Chattanooga and may have overheard just enough to make this whole thing work. Posters in this thread put "words in his mouth" often, he didn't deny it and some ran with it and it became "fact".

Beaver slipped at least twice that I remember. I brought them both up but no one was interested. Strangely not even SFD.

I never paid attention to the VC, buying of planes, trucks in Knox. buying houses etc. I spent most of my energy trying to figure out who was who and what they were doing.

I think UTViE was Hear4Grumors.

The whole Deerpark fiasco was telling. I changed my opinion of a couple of regular posters after that. Fwiw, I've always trusted his info more than anyone's.

This is all jmo. And the short version.

Pretty much where I was. Interesting guess about UTViE/ H4G.

I must say that I’m amazed at how many people put so much effort (and coordination) into the whole rigmarole. I keep returning to one question: why? Had they nothing better to do? It seems rather childish. Clever, but childish.

Oh well, it was fun, and I met some new people along the way. And attached some asterisks to a few other names.
