Neyland crowd today

New staff. New team. Support them. Other SEC schools look pretty packed today

True. But it seems that for whatever reason other SEC schools make the “right” hire. Even Arkansas is battering 15th ranked Texas right now. Not that Heupel won’t pan out and I hope that he does, but after years of hiring Dollar General coaches fans are fed up.

Gotta earn it now. The admin have been yanking our chain for years. Sorry. You want to sell all of those tickets? Better give people a reason to be in there.
Absolutely!! Our AD knows that and is committed to making this happen. Yep games in to a new coaches season and burn this bitch down!!! Our fans r crazy. Sorry some of our fans

All I'm saying is, if it was a sellout or even if the crowd that did show stayed hype all game, I don't think Pitt ever calms down and goes on that second quarter run. I honestly think we would of won if people just weren't so quick to get quiet over a couple overthrown balls. After that the atmosphere was nowhere near as good and Pitt just operated like a machine.

It’s hard to judge. The north upper deck was very sparse. It was thicker in the upper deck behind the visitor’s bench, and got better as you go around the south and west. Lower bowl looked full all the way around. But the crowd was working hard all day though. We did our part.
The piddling in a trough part I don’t miss. Used to have season tickets in QQ in the 90s.

You could be right. Not saying you aren’t. But I don’t think you’ll see a full sellout there until things drastically improve. It’s a shame that none of the people responsible for putting us in this situation are even around. Can’t blame White and Heupel, but people are jaded. Is what it is.

They look like a packed stadium right,…..u wanna know why?,…… their record crowd,RECORDcrowd,….is 76,000! Soooooo theirs ur reason for that staff being packed.

I dropped my season tickets during the Pruitt years. It’s a decision I don’t regret. They kept asking more for the tickets while the product on the field got worse and worse.

I am getting tired. The all day trip and just getting punched in the mouth with bad officiating and crappy calls. Kids played hard but staying home and watching instead just keeps sounding more appealing. Plus all the money you can save. Plus the AD doesn't give a crap about the fans. TV money seems to be enough for them.

I’ve posted this before, but I gave up our season tickets years ago under butch. We’ve used the money saved on the tickets/donation and travel expenses, food, hotels and such on doing fun things as a family instead. We just watch the games at home, no long drives to watch the vols put up a terrible team and lose all the games that matter. Frankly it wasn’t fun anymore. Stepping back has been nothing but a positive for me.

Looked terrible on TV. 70k is what I was guessing from the perspective of my couch.

The wife keeps begging me to go to a game. I keep denying her. 6 hours across the state, food, gas, hotel, tickets……to see what has been trotted out lately. Uhhh….no.

The last game I went to was a couple years ago when Mizzou blew us out by 35 in Neyland. No more of that for me.

Not only that, but they were playing a former arch rival and a team that travels extremely well.

Way too many empty seats. Should of been a near sell out, think it would of changed the outcome honestly. Once Milton kept missing the deep balls, the crowd wasnt that loud anymore. At the start of the game Pitt was beyond rattled. Oh well. I get it. BVS and all

Pretty sure it was a near sell out.

They said at the start of the broadcast over 100k fans.

Looked pretty full to me except a few spots in the nosebleeds.

Not even close to full. These were taken about 18 minutes before kickoff. It filled in some after this but there should've been a lot more people there. We had hardly any traffic driving down Kingston Pike and on Neyland.

Don't trust everything you hear on TV.
