Next week is Big!

We can ruin Vanderbilt's Dream Season!
We can shut up that 28 year old trash talking QB
We can finish 9-3 better than everyone anticipated, and red hot going into the off-season..

Lets Get It!

Finishing 9-3 is not a red hot into the offseason with how this season panned out.

lol. Bless your heart.
Losing our starting QB and taking a random guy and turning him into the SEC leader in passing yards while still maintaining a possible 10 win season if you count the bowl win we may have is absolutely huge.

Given that and losing two of our best DBs 9-3 is a stellar situation. We without a doubt should have won more. We should have hit the kick versus GA and taken gotten that win.

But to complain and try to bring someone down with snarky comments while TN is winning at the swamp for this first time since I was 13 is crazy work.

Who needs rivals when we have fellow fans like you. šŸ˜‚

This game should not have been a surprise to anyone.

Florida has an interim coach, starting players opting out, and 3 wins.

This game is going exactly how everyone expected once Napier got fired.

Very pleased to end the streak, but this is the most unsurprising performance to anyone.

You can’t assume a win or chalk it in when we have had better teams many times over and still found ways to lose in the swamp.

I said multiple times we clear them, but regardless if they fielded the Florida School of Deaf breaking that streak and winning in an achievement that many on this board were doubting coming into the game.

No Playoff Bid
Losing record vs Rivals
Multiple home losses for first time in 4 years

This is basically a repeat of 2023. Nothing to write home about.
When we’ve spent the past 20 years having losing season after losing season. All of what is happening is worth writing home about. This is the best the program has looked in my adult life and I will enjoy every second of it.

You must have not followed Tennessee last year or 3 years ago. Because the 22 and 24 seasons were light years better looking for the program than this year has.

So how did u predict this season?

10-2 making the playoff to keep from regressing. Sure as hell not losing multiple home games for the first time in 4 years.

The QB situation was such an overrated ā€œcrisisā€ā€¦. At the end of the day, Heupel can manufacture a serviceable QB regardless underclassman or veteran status.

The loss to Oklahoma basically made this season a stinker.

The fact it took moving Florida to end of the regular season so we could face an interim head coach, starters opting out, and injuries just makes this laughable. We are beating the sh!t out of Florida like it was expected. This is the worst Florida team that has ever been compiled in any of the 20 years since the streak started.

Actually last year was one game different, but go off queen. I did miss the 2022 season bc I was in basic training so I’ll give you that.

Considering where we could have been with a new QB under center in a new system... Im with the him, a win tonight and next week makes us REDHOT!! GBO!!

The QB crisis was such an overdramatic reaction. Heupel has a proven track record of being successful having decent offenses regardless of experience or inexperience at QB.

I can’t continue to argue with you.

Like I said it’s a one loss difference. A missed field goal from making the playoffs. I’m not gonna stress it. The Vols are going to have tons of amazing season ahead under Heupel. Let’s enjoy this win brother! Go Vols! šŸ—£ļø

Actually I’ll give you one more. You said losing record versus Rivals but.

Georgia L
Alabama L
Kentucky W
Florida W
Vanderbilt ?

Looks like we are 2-2 versus Rivals with the chance to have a winning record!

I’ll leave it at that. Enjoy the win boss. ā¤ļø

Ok so we limp into the playoffs as a road team like we did last year... so as long as we make the playoffs that is a successful year? We got destroyed by a better team in the playoff. Your griping about dominating an inferior florida team on the road but losing to 2 top 10 teams at home by less than one score makes no sense to me.. nobody that follows UT really had them a a playoff team this year after all the injuries and losses to the draft

If you are having to put Kentucky and Vandy into the rivals category, bless your heart.

Tennessee coaches have always been judged on the record vs Georgia Florida Alabama.

This is not new.

Tennessee went 4 years without losing at home to a school not named Georgia in Neyland. That included beating high ranked teams. And we didn’t lose to multiple Top 10 teams this year in Neyland. OU wasn’t even Top 15 I believe.

The multiple losses at Neyland this year was absolutely disgusting. Especially considering the offense went brain rot against OU. We should be sitting around 8-10 spot right now with a 9-2 record.

We will likely end up 10-3 with a similar final ranking in both seasons. I’d rather win our bowl game than get blown out in the first round of the playoffs.
