Great but that isn’t some big accomplishment when you factor in multiple home losses in a season. We could afford the stinker loss on the road as long as we kept the losses in Neyland to 1.

It cancelled each other out. We lost to one team not named Georgia at home and had no road losses against inferior teams. It was a trade off. That doesn’t make losing the OU game any better as we dominated that game in every aspect except turnovers and the scoreboard. Had we won that game but lost to either Mississippi state or Florida, we would still be 8-3 right now.

OU is a top 10 team and will finish the season as such as long as they don’t lose at home to LSU. If you’re just going to cherry pick, we also beat an undefeated Mississippi state team and a preseason top 15 Florida both on the road.

Yes! We were definitely good enough to be here tonight undefeated or a 1 loss team, but I will still take it, no matter the result of the next game, over ALL of Pruitts years. Very dark times in UT football!

9-3 is always a good season for Tennessee (I said good, not great). Always. We’re not Bama or Ohio State. If you’re expecting 10/11 wins every year, you are rooting for the wrong team. It’s unfortunate, but that is reality. I would’ve killed for 9-3 about 5 years ago.

Florida and Miss State are exactly who everyone thought they were…. There has been no surprises that they are where they are currently.

Cherry picking is thinking that a 4-0 MSU and an overrated Napier on the hot seat were actually relevant or quality opponents.

Not surprised that we won, but surprised how we won. The last time that we manhandled Florida like this was in 1992 and the last time that we blew out Florida in The Swamp was in 1955. Blowout wins against Florida don't come easy no matter how down they are. It's a great win for the program.

A simple fact going forward is that a three loss team will never get an at-large CFP bid. No more than two losses is the new bogey.

Tell me how our last 5 coaches have done @ UF.

Then tell me why we should not be surprised. UF’s worst teams have been able to find wins vs a better UT.

This game, we simply took away their will to play and ran the ball down their throats. Just a domination and demeaning way to win.

We ran the ball so well, it took a late game pass to get Aguilar to 200 yards and still put up 31 points without any defensive scores.

That is taking the other team’s soul.

We have never played a worse Florida team this century than we played last night.

We have never played a Florida team with an interim coach this century until this year.

We have never played a Florida team with guys opting out this century until this year.

This game performance and result was a shocker to no one. It went as expected.
