Here is a hypothetical. Let's say Judge Roy did do something with the 14 year old girl. I don't necessarily doubt it. The question is if he knew she was 14. If he did, it is really bad, and illegal.

If she looked 16, said she was 16, and was willing, it just looks creepy, but not illegal. He can't admit to that either, or he's finished. It's not for me to judge.

We don't need IDs to prove any qualification for voting because it's discriminatory, but somehow an exact age is necessary for dating, and looking older than that age isn't proof enough? So what kind of ID should be necessary for dating, and who sets the age limits - is it different if the "girl" is a confused boy? If any mix of genders (accepting that there aren't just two anymore) is acceptable for dating, marriage, or restrooms, then why precisely is age discrimination acceptable? Talk about mental gymnastics.

Are you asking or telling? I happen to think that ID's should be required to vote.

I also think that if a female looks under 21, one should verify there age before you ask them to jerk you off. Had the "judge" taken this advice, he might not be in the predicament he's in.

If sex conversion is an acceptable practice - and more so if it's acceptable at any age since it reflects the desire to be different, then why should age have any factor between consenting "adults". Or are you clowns agreeing that a non adult should be able to permanently mutilate his or her body while being too immature for other things?

Just setting the record straight for Judge Roy. It makes a difference since 16 year olds are legal in Alabama. I'm pretty sure he likes 'em young in any case.

I draw the line at age 52 for myself, because that's how old my wife is. It wouldn't go over well if I was to mess around with somebody younger than 52.

It's quite simple actually. If we as a society (at least the loud and vocal part) are willing to say children are adult enough to decide what sex or orientation they want to be, then why shouldn't other "adult" children be free to do what they want with their bodies?

The answer to the question is that the burden was on Moore to determine her age. The "I thought she was older" defense will fail every time. I repeat every time.
