Next time we complain about Butch's injury policy.

When Butch coaches as well as Saban. He can adopt his injury reporting policy.

I believe you are mistaken.
Butch may succeed or fail miserably but he can implement any injury policy that he damn well chooses.
Like the above poster, I agree with the policy.

Injuries are apart of the game, and why would ya want to expose those to your opponents. Also, we find out other ways.

Absolutely agree.
The posters that whine about that are just more concerned with their 'want to know', than what is smartest for the team.

Coaches don't want fan bases pressuring them to play/practice injured players before they are healed and many will. There are also certain fans that will take to social media questioning their dedication, desire or even manhood if they are held out because of say a concussion or some things like that.

First of all, I like the policy.

The logic that says tell people so they don't speculate and spread internet rumors is STUPID.

The logic that says we, as fans, deserve to know is comical.

The logic that says Buych can only do what other great coaches do once he becomes a great coach is ridiculous.

A young man playing football in exchange for an education is between him and the sponsor of that education. That includes his medical details, academic records and behavioral record. It's none of our business really.

However, If he gets arrested then that young man pays the same price as any other adult caught by police breaking the law.

Unfortunately, neither privacy for student athletes, nor normal accountability are the norms.

It's more than not letting opponents know about injuries these days. The players could actually ask for nothing to be said and the university would have to abide by that.
