Next Cowboys HC could be good for Vols

You got a link or just making chit up? Did you forget GA is in the east or are you just stoned?
Dallas will not commit to Dak unless they can bring in a coach to maximize his skills and have an offense to utilize all their talent. Dallas/Jerry Jones comes for you, you don't say no

Jerry Jones may want to hire him but I don't think Mullen is dumb enough to take it. Jones and Haslam seem to be in a perineal contest to prove who is the worst owner in the NFL.

They’d be crazy to hire Mullen. Little less crazy to hire Riley but still crazy

I doubt it happens, but even if it did, Mullen would leave the program in a much better place now than where it was two years ago, and keeps it an attractive place for the next head coach. I can think of easily 4-5 coaches off the top of my head that I would favor over Pruitt any day.

Mullen on list with Lincoln Riley, Urban Meyer and Josh McDaniels. I could see Mullen reuniting with Dak as a real possibility. His buyout is only $2.0M. If offered, I think he takes it.

I like Mullen better than who they might hire.

Any of those guys would be crazy to take the job. Jones is an over-involved owner. Much like Haslam and the Browns, the owner is the biggest problem with the franchise.

As much as I want to hate the Gators, I have a lot of respect for Mullen and his family. I do think he would crush it walking into the current roster of the Cowboys.

Dan Mullen is now the frontrunner for the head coach job for the Dallas Cowboys since Garrett has been let go. With this, UT is in position to jump to the top of the SEC east for the next 4 to 5 years. Georgia regressed this year and their offense is nothing to be feared. Now its a blessing in disguise that we didn't get Mullen as our coach as so many had wanted!
Would love to have a drink of that....

But history says that UF knows how to hire coaches. UGA is recruiting enough talent that Smart could sit around and drool on himself and win games.

Well, the ink isn't dry yet. I remember Rich Rodriguez was supposed to Bama's new coach a few years ago. Looked how that turned out.

LOL. We had trouble with Indiana tonight and lose our best 2 WRs, best OL, Best pass rusher, best LB and best DB.

Jones gave Garrett like 7 years and all he had to show for it was 3 playoff wins. I can’t believe he gave him that much time honestly. He’s not Al Davis levels of crazy yet but he might get there. Those guys would love the chance to turn the Cowboys around and get paid well doing it. They play in a garbage division and have decent talent so they aren’t a dumpster fire like Cincy, Miami or Cleveland. And if it doesn’t work out they’ll be out of work for like 5 minutes and a few million richer. I would love for Mullen to leave a month before signing day.

Cowboys would have to commit to Dak long term before hiring Mullen
