Glad they finally put a date to it... that's a little late for my taste though. Something new right at the holiday.

Oh it's very likely, but not because of the update & not until Christmas.

Remember last Christmas? Xbox Live was down for a few days due to the overwhelming number of people on at once & this year it could be worse with price drop & all.

Not to mention that GOW2 and all the other titles coming out.....I getting guns......lots of them...

OMG... The COD4 servers were soooo terrible at Christmas time last year (maybe it was Halo 3).

mmmmmm......I am commenting on this only because the NBA2K9, Madden, and NCAA09 servers were screwy last night and the last few days. Anyone else notice this???

That first game you jumped in against us, I believe I killed you about 6 times to 1.

Yeah Bearcat... maybe they are continuing to work on updates/expansion in preparation for NXE, and it is causing lag problems?

The GOW servers worked just fine last night....the beers were giving me some serious lag

Yep get ready for issue with Live for a day or two... But I'm ready for a change on the dashboard.

I've had the new dash running for a few days. It's different looking for sure. Easy enough to use, things are just in different places.

Loading games onto the HDD is nice. No more DVD drive noise after you start the game. My fans rarely run on the back, so the unit just sits there quiet as can be. Load times are a bit quicker but nothing that will make your jaw drop.
