It's looks Ok, but I will have to dive deeper into it when I get home. It seems as if the old system was better, but we will see.

So once you load the game onto you HDD, does that make it so you don't the game disc at all any more?? Surely Microsoft wouldn't add a feature that seems it would hurt the sales of their games because people will simply pass around one copy of their game with all their friends rather than each person having to purchase their own copy.

Negative. You still have to have the game in the tray.

Yep, you guys are right, I saw that and thought there was no way Microsoft would do that. It is kind of cool loading the game on and being able to play without the Xbox making so much noise, but I only have the 20GB HDD so, I won't be doing this with many games if at all. The new dash is pretty cool, it's a little different but I'll get used to it soon enough.

it seems pretty cool, i like the saving games to HD bit. quieter, and a little less wear and tear on the cd drive. I'll probably make the avatar thing in a bit.

the new party thing is big to me. its been frustrating when 2 people want to Chat and stuff

Or if you're playing the same game with your friends you can all join the chat and not listen to the other team mouthing off in little girl voices because they are 12.

It's growing on me. The party chat thing is cool. I jumped into a convo with Mason, Fleetwood, etc in the middle of their COD4 game when I was in dashboard mode.

Yeah that seems to be the main advantage of it. No more having to listen to kids like this.... YouTube - Kid Wants His Chocolate Milk! (MUST SEE) Okay, so maybe I've never come across anything that bad, but still, little kids can grate on the nerves pretty quickly.

Group chat is great no more crying kids. Would have been great when our dynasty was rolling and we were all playing our cpu games so we could talk.
