Loading games onto the HDD is nice. No more DVD drive noise after you start the game. My fans rarely run on the back, so the unit just sits there quiet as can be. Load times are a bit quicker but nothing that will make your jaw drop.
Negative. You still have to have the game in the tray.So once you load the game onto you HDD, does that make it so you don't the game disc at all any more?? Surely Microsoft wouldn't add a feature that seems it would hurt the sales of their games because people will simply pass around one copy of their game with all their friends rather than each person having to purchase their own copy.
it's a neat feature, but it's pretty useless when you're playing a game that requires communication while you're talking to someone else.
Or if you're playing the same game with your friends you can all join the chat and not listen to the other team mouthing off in little girl voices because they are 12.
Yeah that seems to be the main advantage of it. No more having to listen to kids like this.... YouTube - Kid Wants His Chocolate Milk! (MUST SEE) Okay, so maybe I've never come across anything that bad, but still, little kids can grate on the nerves pretty quickly.
