The crowd goes silent, the lights dim, the stadium is dark, all of a sudden 80's hair metal begins to play, as the hair stands on the back of your neck, fireballs shoot off from the field into the air, the lights suddenly burst on and then band starts rocky top as Tennessee comes running through the T. Just a suggestion lol
We are missing 2 things:
1. A first down chant... everyone has them, we are behind.
2. A between 3rd and 4th quarter tradition... something to sing or chant or do together.
Do we consider the "oooohh boom" for kickoffs a tradition? I always liked other schools that actually say something... I've also noticed everyone slacks on the "Go Big Orange" chant. It would be nice if everyone got behind that again.

I've read about Nebraska fans clapping for the opponent when they leave the field after a game, win or lose, and not booing them when they come out either. I recognize we play 'Bama and Florida thoughso I'd settle for 60-Minute Fans who stay for the whole game regardless of whether we're up 40 or down 40. A 60-Minute Fans' Salute from everyone who stays for the whole game, to give props to the players' effort after a game, would be pretty cool.
- First down chants sound dumb because they were started by UK, SCarolina, etc and when you are losing they are really dumb when your fans are cheering about a FIRST DOWN while losing 55-3
- They have the Alma Mater song at half, no reason to copy Florida or WVU and have some dumb song then
At least we arent as bad as trying to pass off "jump Around" or enter sandman as some great tradition...those are embarrasing to Wisky and VPI...
Our traditions are fine as is, except for get rid of the Woo (which first showed up around 1996)
