Can we just leave stuff alone and just let it "BE". Whatever happen(ED) (S) is done... You'll never be on this side of the story, and I'm finished with anything even remotely related to the conversation of CDD. Our focus is and should be how do we move forward and support who is here.

Why don't you try that?

In response to how "FANS" see things... Okay.... not my place to tell you how to feel about "WHAT YOU SEE or HOW YOU FEEL". All I can is everybody doesn't have that same vision.

What did I post that was remotely disrespectful or uncalled for? In typical fashion, you are looking for a reason to be outraged at who you deem to be "unreasonable" "general" "fair weather" fans. If your concerns weren't about Dooley leaving, what were they about? Us idiotic outsider fans aren't special enough to know how things "really work" so please help us blind saps out a little. I don't expect an answer, because you are only good at truculent flaming of people that don't kiss your azz.

Ok, so it not about posters kissing my azz... just you, for every reason that I'm snooty snobbish and unreasonable as you've stated. Before a week ago I never responded or posted about you nor to you.

I will answer your question since you're not being sarcastic as you normally are toward me. So here's your answer: It wasn't about DOOLEY and the rest is personal for a lot of other reasons that aren't meant to be posted on VNation. 90% of posters aren't idiots either..... I don't think that. It's folks like you that dont just accept things as they are and willing to just leave matters as they are.

Here's the thing: HONESTLY - You don't care for me and I accept that.. I don't care... I really don't. Feelings mutual??? YEP... so lets respect each others space.

and maybe I responded negatively to you because NOT ONCE have you said anything to me that wasn't backhanded or snide, so I'm just automatically defensive by your responses to something that I really just want to move away from.

Lol. I gave you three very non backhanded compliments that you glossed right over in another thread. I have been very complimentary of your son (you took those as backhanded as well for reasons that I don't understand). My respect for him is also not contingent on him being a Vol. If he decided to transfer, I would have wished him well in a very respectful way. When he makes a mistake on or off the field (as even the very best players do from time to time), you can count on me continuing to be supportive of him. If you want to ignore these things be my guest, but it just reinforces my theory that you are simply looking for somebody to pissed off at.

I'm generally under attack by Sam, so I tend to be automatically defensive. I'm just tired of having to defend something that no longer should be a subject here, and whatever my personal feelings and situations have been are now settled to my satisfaction.

I just want Vnation to move forward and stop bashing sh*t that we cant do anything about, and support CBJ and move on.

Do you not see how my previous question (although pertaining to Dooley and the past) is still appropriate? Try for a second to view your posta from my perspective. When you say that Dooley being fired wasn't the reason for your mulling over the decision to leave, naturally the next question in my mind is "then why?". It is a legitimate and pertinent question imo because, if it wasn't about Dooley being fired, then it was some other problem that likely was not resolved since the only real changes that have occurred have been Dooley getting fired and Butch getting hired.

And you don't have to answer. I don't expect you to. I am just trying to show you why I think it is still a legitimate question.

Fair enough, but I don't feel like Sam attacks you. That's not my fight though. You are right that fans like myself are not privy to info that someone like yourself has knowledge of and that is fine. We are not looking for you to spill the beans. Just try to understand that the Dooley subject is a raw wound to us common fans. When someone tries to praise him for a job that we feel he failed at, know that there will be reaction.

You are correct. I never attacked or flamed her (aside from calling her a jackazz in mimic of the way she did to me). I did say that I will take her judgement on the current staff with a grain of salt due to her appraisal of the previous staff. It was not a disrespectful post, yet she flamed me for it and has been flaming away ever since (even when I speak positively about her and Jason). This is why I have formed the opinion that she is just looking to mix it up with some people.

Sam... I agree that your posts have not necessarily been disrespectful, but if you read you comments below perhaps you can see what might be a bit offensive. You have asked her to see things from your perspective, but yet don't appear to be offering her the same courtesy. How many times had she previously stated that she preferred not to speak to the subject and just move on? And yet, you reply again with the same question. Since when did it become "legitimate" to repeatedly ask questions about other people's personal business? Doyle, on the other hand, gets it and stated it quite well. Her business is none of our business.

I don't care about her personal business, but in the past she had mentioned how much more to the story there was, and that 90% of the fans don't know anything, and then she brings it up again in the Night Shift thread. I took that to mean that it wasn't part of "her" story specifically, but rather part of the story of the coaching firing/hiring. Whatever, I don't care. I just want her to quit trivializing the role of the fans, and stop acting like we know nothing about our favorite program.
