I'll have to look into a PC moving forward. The only Console game I've played consistently for a while is The Show, so don't know that I see a PS5 in my future.

The versatility of a PC would be nice

Especially if MLB is on PC this next go around.

How has your HOTAS setup been working out? :)
Full disclosure.........................I returned my PC for a refund because I had buyers remorse. I am glad that I decided to do that because I am going back to the original plan of building one after the first of the year when parts are hopefully more availible. From my time with the HOTAS with FS, it was a gamechanger and just improved the experience so much. Will definitely go back to it after the first of the year.

It turns out that my Thrustmaster T16000M that I've had for the past couple of years has a design flaw where the potentiometer that controls the Z-axis for rudder will get worn out over time, causing voltage spikes that make the aircraft in game uncontrollable with spasms of full right or left rudder. Therefore, I decided to get a VKB Gladiator NXT joystick and it just arrived today. So far it's performing flawlessly. The really nice thing about the NXT is that it has hall effect sensors not only for the X and Y axis (like the T16000), but also the Z axis, eliminating the possibility of potentiometer degradation.

Here's a link if anyone wants to check out the joystick: Gladiator NXT – VKBcontrollers.com

Nice! I’m going to try it out on Oculus this weekend. If I love it I may look into a flight stick as well for a more immersive experience.

Today I did a flight in Europe starting in Austria and ending in Germany. Here's a pic of takeoff out of Innsbruck, Austria (LOWI):

Near the Austrian-German border on Germany's side, lies Neuschawnstein Castle, which I just so happened to fly over:

The weather began to rapidly deteriorate the farther along my journey I went (using real-world weather):

Therefore, I decided to divert to a closer airfield (EDDO) and land. I had a successful landing and parked my Cessna next to an auto-generated Pilatus PC12.

Overall a really fun, scenic flight. Now time to book a hotel and get a taxi. Maybe the weather tomorrow will be better. :)

Loving the new turboprop airliner (DC-6) released by PMDG! Literally every single switch inside the cockpit is clickable and has a function. The plane has an automated flight engineer that performs many pages of checklists while you do the flying. Below are some pics from a trip I took from Anchorage to Nome Alaska.
