Full disclosure.........................I returned my PC for a refund because I had buyers remorse. I am glad that I decided to do that because I am going back to the original plan of building one after the first of the year when parts are hopefully more availible. From my time with the HOTAS with FS, it was a gamechanger and just improved the experience so much. Will definitely go back to it after the first of the year. How has your HOTAS setup been working out?![]()

Nice! I’m going to try it out on Oculus this weekend. If I love it I may look into a flight stick as well for a more immersive experience. It turns out that my Thrustmaster T16000M that I've had for the past couple of years has a design flaw where the potentiometer that controls the Z-axis for rudder will get worn out over time, causing voltage spikes that make the aircraft in game uncontrollable with spasms of full right or left rudder. Therefore, I decided to get a VKB Gladiator NXT joystick and it just arrived today. So far it's performing flawlessly. The really nice thing about the NXT is that it has hall effect sensors not only for the X and Y axis (like the T16000), but also the Z axis, eliminating the possibility of potentiometer degradation.
Here's a link if anyone wants to check out the joystick: Gladiator NXT – VKBcontrollers.com
