"New" Depth Chart ..

- Jumper has played admirably, however opponents are running all over this defense.. I am open to changes at LB, hopefully with Kirkland back in

- Bituli looks the part.. however Austin Smith looked like a freak last year, now is lost in oblivion

- Butcher moved to DT? He must be putting on a ton of weight

The roster before the season started showed Butcher at 275, might be up to 280 now, he will be undersized but Tuttle and Johnson are really the only true DTs we have left, even Vickers is a little undersized.

It would be Coaching Malpractice if Jumper gets bumped for McDowell... He has been our leading tackler in the past 4 games. Only way he gets bumped is if DK Jr and JRM both come back... That's not the case. DK Jr and Jumper will both play out the rest of the season.

Jumper was absolutely not the leading tackler against Bama. 3 total tackles. He was 10th on the whole team. These Jumper conspiracists need to stop now.

Butcher received a medical last year and is eligible for another redshirt season. He's needed now so it probably won't happen this year.

This isn't exactly how it works. He got a medical redshirt last year, but it's not guaranteed he gets granted another redshirt. They have to apply for it and hope he gets it. It's easier if your medical redshirt comes AFTER the normal redshirt.

I know vickers was undersized when he got to UT, but now at 6'3 295lbs he's about the perfect size for a collegiate DT. Butcher is a little on the small side but if he maintained his quickness he could be a force inside. He played some DT in high school, and his team played a lot of 3-4, so being in a DT role won't be totally foreign to him thankfully.

Comprehension is not clear with you....

I said in the last 4 games, he has been our leading tackler..... To put it simply, his tackles over the last 4 games have been more than anyone else on the team.

You really should think before you speak.

Tuttle and Vickers both better than MacKenzie IMO, although Mac is pretty good. Losing O Brien does hurt and Mac being out hurts depth, which is important at DT.

Not actually correct. Having a regular redshirt almost makes getting a medical one impossible. If your first redshirt is for medical reasons you have a better chance at a second one. It's why Jerry Colquitt got turned down.

Is McDowell gonna be back for this game? I also thought Elliot Berry looked good in the Bama game. I think we will be ok with Kirkland, McDowell, Bituli, and Berry.

Oh you're right, I should know what you mean when it can be interpreted in multiple ways.

Colton Jumper has been our 10th best tackler in the last 1 games. The point still stands that he was not good against Alabama.

You really should think about the point someone is trying to make before you speak.

Try naming players (let's try for five) who WERE good against Alabama. I can't.

What's Jack Jones' status? I read that he had surgery on the torn ligaments in his thumb. Butch said that he expected all offensive linemen would be back for South Carolina. Does that include Jones? I assume he would have to play with a cast, which would limit his effectiveness.

JJ can handle the Cocks single handedly
