4* safety from Havelock, NC, committed today.
Anthony Harris, Havelock, Safety
Anthony Harris, Havelock, Safety
the average rating is pretty good. if ranking on average, we'd be around 11th nationally and 4th or 5th in the SEC (Auburn and TN have basically the same rating average, forget which one is higher)
the top schools are recruiting at ridiculous levels. and i say that while saying we're doing fantastic.......
Its about where the talent is as much is the overall talent for example our recruitment of our left tackle is phenomenal he is elite ... That position Matter so much in the grand scheme of things for your offense passing game
oh, i agree. and that's another reason i like how this class has started. it's hitting positions of need, and they seem to be getting good ones. so we'll see how it all shakes out, but i'd put it in the 'so far so good' category for sure.
Don't get me wrong, EB is about as good a safety as we saw on The Hill for decades. However I like safeties to be 6 feet tall and this young man at 6' 1" fits that nicely. 175 lbs means he can add some. Difficult to see a 175 lb safety bringing the pain in run support so he needs to add a few IMO.
