There is only one .....

Brent Venables.

He’s tier 1 though. Standard of Excellence

Will take 7 mill per year. Better get it going now though.

Once Clemson wins again it will be 8 mills

I think UM has his eyes set on USC. He could quickly turn USC into a conference champ and national title contender. All the other coaches on the list aren't going anywhere. As crazy as it sounds, now that Kiffin has grown up (sort of), he might be a decent choice. I think we can all agree that he's a good coach and can get the most out of his players. UT and Kiffin are both at the bottom of the barrel right now and him returning as head coach would actually be an upgrade for both parties.
If UT fires Pruitt in the next year or two, it'll set the Vols' "rebuild" back another decade and give the program another black eye. No coach would want to come here knowing that they'd get fired after a couple of seasons if the fan base isn't happy with the direction of the team. It's best to ride this one out and let the program stabilize before making a change. Hopefully by then the program will be a little more appetizing for a top tier coach. Right now UT is a bat-sh!t crazy tramp that's been around the block a few times.

I believe we ought to go after Harbough after he gets let go by Michigan. He succeeded at Stanford, he succeeded at San Fran but for some reason, he is only mediocre at UM. Maybe bc of the pressure of it being his Alma Mater. He would be wanting to prove that UM was a fluke and not the norm. He brings experience and name recognition. I believe he would succeed here, ala Rick Barnes.

I will continue to preach this but we need an offensive guru that has continuously made low talent teams competitors. My vote would be Leach

I would take Meyer in a heartbeat, look how quick he turned it around at Florida and he won a national championship at both schools he coached at. Throw 8-10 million dollars at him a year and watch the wins pile up.

You can’t build a program firing coaches every few years. Everyone thinking we should fire him in year 2 is being over emotional. Simple.

The more we fire coaches the longer the rebuild is going to take. I think deep down we all know this but we don’t want to accept it. Accept it.

Alabama managed to do it.

I want to win as bad as anyone. But to see Kiffin get that many votes just blows my mind. Some of you forget too easy.

With the way this poll is worded. Anyone not picking Urban Meyer is insane or happy going 8-4.

If anyone still thinks they want Leach, check out last nights score of Washington St vs UCLA. 67-63. They lost. Might be able put up points but in the even we haven’t given up 67 points...yet

Kiffin?
Kiffin??
KIFFIN???
Holy hell its unbelievable that some people would be ok with bringing a guy back that we could actually lay a little blame on for our current situation.

I don’t think he’s to blame at all. He left for his dream job and we didn’t have a good enough contract with him to stay just if Bama ever called for Pruitt (obviously that won’t happen but ya know)
