Coach Chavis seems to do fine with the LB's and Coach Brooks must be pretty good with the line for so many to be playing in the NFL. Heck, as far as that goes how many DB's are in the NFL. The offensive side besides Coach Cut and Trooper just got here and they deserve a legit chance to get things going. Sorry for the ranting just wanted to look at the glass half full for a change.
when you recruit the great athletes we do, some are bound to overcome a lack of coaching and make it on ability/potential alone. I read where Maholona said he learned more in training camp than in his 2 years at UT.
Our staffs put more players in the NFL in the 90's than any other school in the country except Miami. That was luck? I say that not because we have the same staff but we do have some of the same coaches still in place. Some others are very new and might need to be given a chance.
