Neverending MBRO memory thread

Gonna be shorthanded, one of our fixers totaled his truck on the way home last night hitting a deer. Another guy hit one Sunday night, they're horrible here right now

It is an amazing feeling. That makes me feel like I'm doing what I should as a husband, and dad. My middle daughter has been kinda bothered, all day yesterday, over that school shooting. She texted me all day today, and she doesn't do that. She saw a couple of the videos yesterday, and talked about it last night. She was just sending random silly stuff. Moo, meow, gobble, etc, and I started thinking she was acting a little funny. I finally asked her if she was worried about what happened, and it was just bothering her. Me just responding with her made her feel like I was with her, just feeling like I could protect her. That made me feel good, but sad she felt that way, but I won't get into all of that. I think we take for granted sometimes the roll we play in our family's lives, and how special we are to them, and they are to us.

God designed the perfect family dynamic, and it works regardless of the number of family members. We are loved. And we can give love. It's beautiful.

I told Tiffany about kiddo texting me, and she had actually left school, skipped team sports class, and came home for about an hour. She said she could tell something was bugging her, she needed some momma also.
