Damn. Covid is terrible for triggering blood clots.Kinda. He had been in the hospital with corona, and had started getting better. Got off the vent, was up and stuff, then had a massive heart attack. He's had problems for years, had a pig valve put in years ago. I guess the virus just got him weak, and his heart gave out.
They’re loving you to death!I'm kinda in a torn spot. My main work is wanting me to start working over more. They have a couple of guys now, but one is retiring at the end of the year. I don't mind occasionally, but it has been a while since I worked so much there. I can make in a day what I make all week at the side gig if comes to needing the money. That said, I like the side gig, enjoy learning the stuff I have, and they're good folks. They've actually talked to me several times, asking what it'd take for me to work for them full time. Of course, insurance is the real issue with that, and I've told them that. If I start working more again at the plant, I'd pretty much have to quit the side gig. I told them today that we'd see at the end of the year when the other guy retires.
