Never ever happy on here

We were supposed to lose by 3 scores or so according to the "experts." Shut. Up.

Worley stays in all four quarters, we probably win. Seriously. I'm not here to preach about moral victories but for God's sake we took the #12 team in the country TO THE WIRE with a ton of FRESHMEN. We're not great, but we're good and we're on the path to greatness. For the love of God, relax.

Can you not see the bright future ahead? Or are you just so overly concerned with today all you care to do is berate a bunch of 18 to 22 year olds for playing a damn good game?

I think that scare did something for Worley...we needed more than a game manager at the QB position and Worley in the 4th was MORE...watershed moment for the season IMO.

Throwing for 265 on the road with 3TDs is definitely more than a game manager.

Eventually, Brick by Brick won't mean anything if we dont get pass the basement

True. I think that means finding a way to get to a bowl game and signing another top ten recruiting class. Beating the No.12 team in the road is more than one floor above basement level, in my book anyway.

We were close today. That's not acceptable forever, but it's progress. I think.

A lot of you guys act like *****es on here and need your balls to drop.

Before the game we get post like....

GA would kill OU...we are about to get blown out.

Spread is 19...we'll be lucky to beat it.

I hope we don't get blown out by 40.

and so and so.

Then we come out, with a group of Freshman, and a brand new line, and battle a GA that is NOT missing half their players like last year, and we take it down to the wire.

What the hell do you people want?

Yes, we are young...but for those about to say I am so sick of the young excuse...please check out our current recruiting....CBJ is fixing that.

Every f'n ESPN announcer gives us high praise after every game and says we are on the right path. They keep saying we are playing much better.

But noooo....because we didn't win the game those of you who stated we would lose by 30 are still *****ing.

Hahaha…78% of this board was happy with a 24-point loss to Oklahoma. There is no major program fanbase with lower expectations or lower standards than what you find here.

This team is going to shock the world this season. I said it preseason we would beat Bama and I still believe it. We will win 8!

Is it really progress though? We were close to beating Georgia in 2012. We were close to beating Georgia in 2013. I'm not sure you necessarily call this progress. Looks more like consistency.

These pissing contests are entertaining don't get me wrong, but I've had enough for a while. I'm going to attempt to have an engaging conversation with my wall, an endeavor which, unlike trying to have a conversation here, has the theoretical possibility of success.

Weren't you upset two weeks ago because we didn't cover? That doesn't work both ways?

You think this team should be expected to go to Georgia and win? It's wasn't a game I had marked as a W this year. Did you?

Not trying to be an ass..... but who is our qb next year? Peterman? Dobbs, who has evidently regressed to the point that he can't beat out Peterman? A true freshman? We're going in the right direction, our talent and competitiveness levels are increasing. But we're gonna struggle again next year, for what feels like an eternity plus 1 year, if we don't find a very solid, talented qb. We don't have one on the roster right now besides Worley and I'm not feeling too good about trotting a freshman out there next year.

Hey mr big brain! You ever thought that we are red shirting Dobbs? Yes, he will be our qb for three seasons.

And in what post did I complain about Worley's performance?

You complained about the offensive coach. You act like we were shut out. Wait until this guy gets Pearson back! This offense will be as prolific as 2012. Worley is a nfl qb contrary to these fools on here think. Our defense is going to get us 8 wins!

I've wanted a new OC since midway last year..... It's not like today pushed me over the edge.

32 pts against a #12 Georgia does not indicate "a bad OC" Today's loss can be attributed to turn overs and losing the special teams part of the game. Peterman was ineffective. Worley missing the 3rd quarter was another major factor in today's outcome. Too rant and rant about the OC is understatedly myoptic.

Let's see what happens next year, hoss. How about that?

Next year we won't have a quarterback, and we'll have another excuse to use for Bajakian's poor decision making skills. We'll still be " young" because the o-line will be sophomores. It will be another "rebuilding" year, and we'll be left muttering "next year" and "I see improvement" after close losses.

All too suddenly do people forget the horrible OC's and play calling we've had prior to the past two seasons. Is it perfect? No- Ive scratched my head on a lot of calls but it's far better and with the right weapons, this staff will be among the best in the business.

So you're saying he's better than Chaney?

Huh? No, I didn't have this marked as a win. I thought we'd lose. I also think Jones is no better than an above average coach at this point. Just because you get what you expect doesn't make it "good".

All of that is irrelevant. Of course I am unhappy when we can't beat the spread against a mid-major conference opponent. Of course, I don't see any upside or moral victory to yet another close loss to Georgia.

I don't see the contradiction there. Both are bad. Repeatedly losing to a conference rival is bad. Not being able to blow out cupcakes is bad. Do you think other fanbases find this sort of thing good?

Besides the onside kick fiasco and the punt that landed at the 1 (which I attribute more to their punting and luck), our special teams played well. Gurley didn't have any big returns, Medley hit one from 46, and Darr was solid with a 44.6 avg and 4 inside the 20.

Really? So if Butch fails to correct the play calling issues and keeps BJ, you don't think that will be the demise of Butch?

Perhaps, this offense might start looking a whole lot better once Butch and Jake start plugging their recruits into this system.

Coach Jake has made some really good playcalls and some really terrible playcalls. At this point, I don't see him as a Malzahn/Petrino/Spurrier type Offensive guru, but I don't think he is absolutely terrible. He made some questionable calls today, but he called a good enough game to beat the #12 team in their house.
