Netflix

I decided a couple of weeks ago to watch Mad Men. Pretty entertaining, IMO.

Watched Tucker and Dale vs. Evil and Wet Hot American Summer tonight. Both were pretty damn funny.

The first was a spoof of your normal college kids getting butchered by hillbillies out in the country slasher film except it was shown from the perspective of two rednecks just trying to relax on vacation where the college kids are causing all the problems. Good stuff.

The second was a spoof of 80's summer camp movies. Great cast. It was made by the people that made The State so if you liked that you'd like this. This was hilarious.

Watched Tucker and Dale vs Evil and it was really funny. Thanks for the recommendation.

I just signed up for the free trial and so far, I'm really enjoying it. I like it so well that I'm going to cancel my cable scrip and just get my entertainment online. Wondering how some of you guys are set up, would like to get some advice about setting up a couple of boxes like a roku or an apple tv box, haven't made that decison yet. I'm currently using Xfinity economy internet, running a whomping 1.5 mbps, I know I'll have to upgrade to faster speeds, just not sure how much I really need. Get a lot of different opinions when I google search, anyway I'd greatly appreciate some input.

Don't they have a good special for 6mbps? Whatever it was, that's what I've got. Good enough to stream Netflix in HD.

My wife and I did the same thing to save 120 bucks a month. We got netflix and hulu plus. The only drawback is live sports. ESPN 3 only goes so far. JustinTV sometimes has games but it is pretty unreliable. Long story short we save a 100 bucks a month and just have to find live sports or go to sports bar. It works for us.

I feel ya on that saving money. My bill last month was $185 and I don't have anything extra like hbo or showtime. I have one of the bundle packages and saw with this last bill that comcast is raising rates again in February, just can't justify paying this kind of money anymore. As far as watching sports, I'm just gonna catch what I can online, probably going to spring for mlb's season package and hook up an indoor antenna and get the weekend stuff on the local networks.

They just recently added Limitless. It's alright.
Lately, my wife and I have been watching every episode of How I met your mother. We just discovered that show.

Not sure if this one has already been mentioned in this thread but, even if it has, Netflix just recently put up the entire 5 1/2 hour version. Previously they just had the edited 1 1/2 hour or 2 hour version, can recall which.

Carlos (TV mini-series 2010) - IMDb

Currently watching this right now. It's actually not a miniseries as described on Netflix, it's the original 5.5 hour cut of the movie broken down into three parts that was shown on IFC IIRC.

Absolutely incredible film. Very highly recommended.

After I finish Mad Men, Breaking Bad is next. I wish they would add Justified to streaming.

If you like Pearl Jam at all, you have to watch the new PJ20 documentary on Netflix. It's outstanding. It's done by Cameron Crowe.

So as I got into Mad Men, I started drinking bourbon on the rocks while watching to sort of match the vibe of the show.

I watched my first few episodes of Breaking Bad last night. I'm thinking I should discontinue that viewing strategy.

Started watching Workaholics. Pretty funny stuff.

Think Grandma's Boy meets the Office.

Workaholics is a great show. " Did he just Tupac walk us? He just Tupac walked us."

I started watching Being Human yesterday and it's pretty good

When I was heavily watching Breaking Bad I got on the internet and was searching for meth recipes (not as easy as you'd think btw).

I never seriously considered cooking was more or less just curious as to how complex it was and to whether or not I thought I could do it.
