Netflix

I thought the first chapter with Tim Blake Nelson was fantastic. The other 5 chapters...not so much.

Meal Ticket was the only one that I didn't care for. Haven't watched the last chapter.

Had no idea it wasn't a complete movie - took the end of the second chapter for me to figure it out. I'm going to go back and watch again knowing what I'm watching.

The cinematography and directing is awesome even when a story drags.

So I loved the acting, the dialogue, and the cinematography, but the stories themselves just left me wondering what I just watched.

I liked the first season of Narcos, season 2 not so much but I am all about giving season 3 a try with the reset and Michael Pena.

Watched the first episode of Narcos Mexico, I enjoyed it. Was interesting to learn where they first figured out to take the male plants out of the equation.

IDK where to put this, but Showtime has a really good docudrama mini-series about the guys who were banging the lady at the prison and escaped. It's called Escape from Dannemore and it's got Benicio Del Toro.

Also, do we need a catch-all thread for all non-Netflix streaming services and premium channels?

First two seasons with Pablo Escobar are great. Season 3 was meh...only made it in a couple of episodes before giving up. Season 4 with Mexico looks interesting.

Loved season 3...you gave up too early. Haven’t started this season yet.
