Netflix

He strikes me as guilty but I'm on episode 6 and the evidence is not there

Finishing up 5 and I think he’s guilty. But they are having trouble proving it.

Seems like the prosecution and police have made mistakes in trying to prove his guilt that are weakening their case.

I mean this woman had the hell beat out of her. She’s got cuts and lacerations everywhere and the defense is arguing she did it all herself. Crazy.

I mean to me it’s either Peterson or an intruder. No way she fell, got up, fell, etc. Just insane.

They can't even begin to explain the lacerations, tho. In our system, that's on the prosecution, not the defense

Right.

Also the fire poker seems like a mistake by the prosecution.

Side note. Idk who made this doc but I kinda feel like they are leaving some stuff out to try and make him look less guilty.

Gotta watch Netflix on this stuff. They prefer entertainment over the truth.

As well they should.

Watch 48 Hours Mystery and/or Dateline and come away with the same impression. I think he’s innocent.

Just the dead woman at the bottom of the staircase who got her head bashed.

I’m with the defense in that if she was beaten, there would be much more physical evidence.

No spatter on walls to show a weapon was used over and over, no spatter on his clothes, no skull fractures. No sign of struggle.

Those would absolutely be present if it happened like the prosecution is saying. There’s too much missing right now.

based on what you see on the doc it seems like the DA hasn’t presented a lot of evidence that it’s Peterson. I would bet they are leaving stuff out. Gut says he’s guilty but pretty obvious they don’t have the goods on him completely.

I agree with you here.

Do I have a suspicion that there’s something fishy here? Absolutely.

Have they proven to me behind a reasonable doubt he’s guilty? Not close

Now I’m only through 5 episodes so that could still change but right now they have a lot of work to do. Jmo.

Lucifer comig to Netflix!

A little more than a month after Fox surprisingly cancelled Lucifer before its season 3 finale, shocking not only the fans but cast & crew as well.

Netflix today announced it had revived the devilish series for a 4th season much to the delight of fans that wrote other networks and streaming services using the hashtag #SaveLucifer.

Star Tom Ellis along with the shows producers also worked hard to get the show revived somewhere else.

Tom Ellis writing on twitter tonight.

I like 48 hours and Dateline, great ways to waste a rainy Sunday away. But the cops on there always crack me up. If a husband won't talk without a lawyer, they are quick to say how that's so suspicious and not something an innocent man would do. But when a cop shoots a suspect the first thing they do is go to the PBA and lawyer up. They wouldn't be caught dead in an interview room alone.

The Staircase is already crazy as hell. Four episodes in.

I was in the same grade as Caitlin (Kathleen’s daughter) and went to school with her for 9 years. Our 8th grade graduation party was at that house, Ive been up and down those stairs. I went Out with her and some friends during the summer of ‘03 and she was telling me how guilty he was. I’ve known this case for a long time being from Durham, I personally know the assistant DA at the time, so I’m pretty familiar with the story.

I do think he’s guilty. There is just too much coincidence and circumstantial evidence to convince me otherwise. Peterson is a weird ****ing guy and so are his kids. One of them tried to blow up a classroom at Duke University back in the 90’s.

Have you watched? Curious about your thoughts.

Yeah I've watched about 4 or 5 so far. It's pretty intriguing seeing this behind the scenes from his POV. He's a pretty bizarre guy who used to write lot of OP-ed pieces for the Durham paper and also ran for mayor. That doesn't make him a killer, but to me if you look at the thing in Germany with what happened in Durham, that's a helluva coincidence. If you add to that his secret life, plus the possibility to gain a lot of money from her life insurance then the motive is certainly there. The lack of a murder weapon is troubling from a prosecutors view, but I still can't buy the defense's alternate theory. The only people who really do that I've ever met, are people that knew him personally and wanted to believe that he is innocent. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if his oldest son knows the whole story and possibly aided in getting the murder weapon off the property. Now that's a pie in the sky theory that I concocted while watching this, but it's something I think is possible. People in Durham are pretty pissed overall that he is now out. As I said, I think he's guilty, actually of 2 homicides and I'm not sure, but I think one of his daughters has recently backed off of her support of him. That and the Duke lacrosse case brought a lot of unwanted publicity to Durham in a short period of time. Somehow Nifong still has the balls to show his face at social events in town.

I looked into the Clayton Peterson Duke/bomb thing...it's even stranger than I expected. He intentionally made a bomb that wouldn't detonate so that he could break into the registrar's office, steal back his fake ID, and leave a harmless bomb that would make it appear to be an act of terrorism as opposed to a burglary. He ended up doing 4 years.
