Netflix

finished lost in space yesterday. it was good. better story than i anticipated and the production quality is really good. a little redundant at times with each episode offering some death defying problem to solve, while the bigger problem remains.

and Judy Robinson......she would not be allowed to make decisions if it were up to me.

watched Evil Genius last week. feel like with as much time was put in to making that, there'd be more to it, from a solution standpoint. the thing that got me about that is that how much crazy has to be in Erie, PA for it all to come together?

altered carbon was better than i thought it'd be too. and like LIS, production quality was very good.

Kimmy Schmidt is back and they do some really cool stuff a few episodes in. Hilarious send up on Netlfix.

Time Segura’s new stand up is good. Anyone know of any Dan Cummins specials on any services (prime, Hulu, anything?)

Started watching Evil Genius today. It is the most insane crime documentary I've ever seen. Excellent production with a crazy as hell, twist and turn story. I highly recommend.

On another note, Netflix is killing it lately with true crime docs.

If you’ve recently found reason to have faith in humanity, let me suggest something to bring you back to earth. Encounters with Evil will do just that. This one garnered the most “Why are you watching this?/What is wrong with you?” remarks from my wife of any show I’ve watched. Also not Netflix but Hulu has a show from the First 48 people called The Killer Speaks that interviews convicted murderers who discuss how and why they did things. The first one is terrible. Actually most of them are terrible. Don’t be mean to your kids, they may grow up to be murderous psychopaths.

Trollhunters ended in a way that wrapped things up nicely but left the door open for more adventures. They also gave a nice tribute to Anton Yelchin.

I know you'll all get a laugh out of this and I may have to turn in my man card but I'm just NOW getting around to watching SOA.....I don't watch a lot of Netflix and watched the first couple of episodes a few years ago but got busy and forgot about it......I'm about 8 episodes in on the first season.

Watched “Evil Genius” and then “Into the Abyss.”

Now watching “The Staircase” which seems pretty good but just realized it’s 13 episodes. After two short series I was hoping for another quick watch.
