Got a relative telling me to watch the ranch. We don’t do many comedies. Maybe I need to to break it up.

i tried the ranch, didn't take. i'm kind of like you, just don't have the sitcom bug anymore. it's more adult than typical, but it's not anything that i couldn't live with out.

not sure if your in to period pieces like Vikings, but The Last Kingdom is good.

also, Penny Dreadful is good. it's an easy watch, 3 seasons, good cast, and good story if you're in to classic monster stuff (frankenstien, wolfman, dracula type stuff).

i would also advise finishing Narcos. loved that show.

The new show Troy on Netflix looks good.

If you want comedy try Wet Hot American Summer. There is a series and two movies. Not everybody's cup of tea though.

it's a slow starter, because it literally starts from scratch. but if you give it a chance, it picks up steam pretty quick. 1st couple episodes were not exactly the greatest 'hooks'...granted.

i'll give bates a shot....tks.

I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed the last couple of seasons. The best were the first ones though. Whatever season with John lithgow was the best.
