You wanna NOTICE something...........IF UT loses to GA and FL.......BAMA Fanz will take over the Stadium. There were probably less that 50k in the stadium beginning the second half of the Ohio game.

Fans want to see good football which has been in short supply in Knoxville for most of the last decade.

No one is forcing these players to pay attention to message boards or the media so, if they can't handle some criticism, maybe they should turn their attention elsewhere.

Nothing wrong with fans being upset at this point. Coach and team have been intact for plenty of time. No excuses. I give butch credit for what he has done but this is a huge disappointment.

Glad we are winning but the fans, and media, have a right to be vocal when the team struggles against significantly weaker teams. Alumni, current students, and fans pumping cash into tickets and gear can say what they like.
I didn't hear any current or former player being vocal about noise when they were hyped up all off season. Now that everyone knows the oline is getting owned and corners are getting badly beaten the chatter should stop?
So far we have played 12 quarters of football and only 2 quarters of them have been really good.

It's a matter of tuning out the internet, unfortunately young people are not able to do that. So it makes a difference. Young people are going to have to learn how to tune out the internet.

I refuse to take responsibility that my words and actions have an impact on a person. It's their fault for listening.

The thing is why be negative when that hurts the team? Be positive get behind the team and help fire them and the coaches up and then there's a good chance we see them playing better and winning by bigger margins. But no most people wants to put them down in the dirt then Bitc! When they play bad!! Cheer up folks and get back to the positives, remember were 3-0 and until we lose we could go all the way!! GBO!!

Something needs to get their attention. Win a meaningful game or two and media/fans will stop doubting...

This is 100% correct. They literally have broken their own bones in the act of obtaining a victory and yet the fans still are not pleased because it doesn't look pretty.

That's your opinion and you're welcome to it. I remain unmoved by some words on the screen however.

Most adults can move on from childish name calling such as your display or general criticism.

I will get up and got to work in the morning not worrying about someone's opinion of me on VN.

I'd suggest these players do the same.

Butch has won 2 really meaningful games. UGA last year and South Carolina a few years ago.

And you know what I say to anyone who can't handle criticism? Get over it! If these players are so soft that they can't shrug off some words then maybe they better find something else to do with their time.

Maybe take up competitive basket weaving or something. They need to grow up and do one of two things, either whine and complain about people saying mean things about the way they play, or man up and show everyone they're wrong by playing better and getting better.

seriously though how is a random poster on this message board causing an olineman to miss a block? Or how are they causing the qb to miss wide open guys. Just another excuse that players use
