Need some help trashing Bama guys..

to the OP. I pretty much think all the bama fans that were in hiding a few years ago have come out of the woodworks after a couple of successful seasons. As long as they are going undefeated there is no reasoning with them.

I say almost because I've met a couple good ones, but almost all bama fans take everything at face value. I guess its how they were brought up learning about all those mythical championships. If they are winning they will talk, and if they are losing they won't say a word (probably won't even wear their colors).

However I will say this doesn't apply to all bama fans. The one's that cherish this rivalry for what it is (the best in college football) are ok with me, but the one's that talk s#!t all the time about how they are the greatest are F***tarded.

Can't say much about their football program right now since they've only lost 1 game in the last 2 years. I used to complain about the smell in Alabama, but ya can't say much about that either with all the paper mills in east TN. Truth is, Alabama's a decent state. They have better bass fishing... They have coastal beaches.... Ya can't use the Forrest Gump argument that they are all dumb, because truth is that they have alot of NASA employees there... I'd go for the "our girls are hotter than yours" argument. Nonetheless, I hate the state of Alabama and everything associated with it.

Here is the deal...Alabama Football has been down in the dumps for a long time. Now they just had an incredible season winning the NC and the heisman. Instead of winning with class they are so bitter from the past years that they have to talk smack constantly. They always talk about their class. Please!...lol. This comes from a school that chants "We just beat the hell out of you" no matter what the score is. Laughable...I would be ashamed. Its like this...the older generation of Bama fans that usually displayed class and pride in wins and loses are dead and gone. The 30 and 40 year old fans come out of that miserable era with Dubose, Price, shula, Fran...need i say more. Vol fans...always display your team colors no matter what because in alabama right now it looks like a sea of red every where you go. didn't see that until recently and thats sad. Wal-mart can't keep sweatshirts.

"Dead and gone?" Dude Dubose took the job in the late 90's. I'm sure you have a nice job in B'ham. Probably not as a CPA.

So you come on a thread entitled "Need some help trashing Bama guys" to talk about the lack of class Bama rival posters have. Don't forget to visit the vol topic discussing who do you hate more the Bama football program or Kentucky basketball. Hey, its never too late to let your contempt be known.

So the Tide won the national championship and you are surprised Bama fans are still having a good time, in B'ham. no less.

In conclusion, let me just ask, Have you by any chance seen the latest in Bama's SEC and NC rings?

Hey dude...I don't post on threads on how to bash Kentucky or vandy or whoever. I didn't even come on this thread and give the guy advise on how to bust on Bama. Yes...those NC rings look great, be proud because everyone one of them was earned. But yes the younger Alabama fan base displays a lot less class. I tell you one thing that I don't do...is cruise Bama forums. The younger generation of bama fans are the first ones to put those row tide sweatshirts in the attic in bad times and piss and moan on talk radio. National Championship....they have come out of nowhere. Basically what i am telling the guy asking for advise is to not sweat it. We don't have to trash talk with Bama fans. Not to many years ago i couldn't get a bama to look me in face in public because the program was a laughing stock. Those days will come again. This guy just has to be patient. Oh and I appreciate you replying to my comment but i noticed you failed to comment on the "WE JUST BEAT THE HELL OUT OF YOU".
