NCAA WBB tourney 2026

does anyone recall how long it takes to set the game times? I have a number of dissertation defenses and appointments on Friday, so I'm eager to see if I can watch the game in real time.

It took Geno 3 more years than Pat and she passed away 10 years ago. If Pat would have been healthy, he'd still be sucking hind tit in that and Championships, imo.
Summitt was the greatest of all time for winning and her impact on the growth in popularity of WCB as a whole. But, in national championship games she was 0 and 4 against UConn. In head to head meetings she won 9 to Aurienma's 13. Of 22 number one seeds Pat won 6 national championships (28%). Two of her championship teams were not seeded number one. Of his 22 number one seeds prior to this year, Geno won 10 national championships (45%). He also had a couple championship teams not seeded number one. I think it's possible to recognize greatness in each of them. I just wish Coach Summitt had remained healthy and able to coach for many years. I think it would have remained a fierce rivalry, tightly and evenly contested. Too bad we missed out on that.

Are you sure you are feeling okay? Lots of colds/flu going around. You might start with the sniffles around Thursday morning.🤷‍♀️

Really getting a 10 seed was a better draw than 8 or 9 would ever be. Were in a two seed bracket. I know that does not mean much as Michigan is a great team also sure have a better chance against them if we get by NC St than we did versus any of the one seeds.

Yes. I’m pretty sure the 12 seed upsetting the 5 seed is the most common
I understand the most common upset is the 'dreaded 7-10' matchup. But that's logical seeing as how 9 beating 8 would not be a real upset and 7-10 is the next highest probability for an upset.

My thoughts the team has a burst of new life, after time to ponder the season but its a fragile burst (handle with care)
My thoughts the team is fragile and if they get off to a bad start it will go bad fast and if they get off to a good start something to build on.
My thoughts the fanbase is mostly already checked out but their in until their not, and the first turnover or missed bunny, it will be here we go again.
My thoughts if its close at half or we have a lead, the dreaded 3rd quarter will pop up in players/coaches/fans minds.
My thoughts is this team would have been better off playing a 1st time foe, the surprise FC press will not be a problem for a repeat foe.
My thought is Wes is a really good coach and it would surprise me if we could get the chemistry going enough to come out with a W.
but that's why we play the game settle it on the court, GBO

, What! more of the worldwide conspiracy against Vols everywhere! The refs done it!

Because surely a ten seed who slipped in by the skin of their teeth and strength of schedule should get far more press than the undefeated overall #1 seed right?

We've been down the reset path so many times this season and walked away disappointed every single time. So LV fans can be excused for being skeptical. OTOH this could actually be the time, esp since its the last chance ..And the draw could absolutely not be more generous. We'll only know once the game starts, probably not until the 3rd quarter.

Vandy's loss to Ole Miss in the SEC tournament was devastating for them. Somehow moved them behind Iowa and Michigan and into UConn's bracket as the lowest #2 seed

Duke on the other hand made it all the way to the finals of their conference tournament and went 20-2 to end the rg season. But still got a #3 seed and in the same bracket as LSU.

As usual, there seems no real rhyme or reason to seedng
