There are plenty of competitive WBB programs. The top 10 teams, particularly the top 5-6 have separated themselves to a degree. It’s early in the tourney.16 games on Friday and all higher seeds won. Only 4 games within 10 points. Lack of competitive WBB games in the tournament and throughout the year is a problem
the top 8 teams are completely separated from the other teams. it’s not extremely competitive. you don’t see many upsets in women’s basketball like you do in the man’s game. There are plenty of competitive WBB programs. It’s tourney time, one and done time. Every quarter you play now is an essential opportunity to work on what needs to be improved. You don’t stop playing your best effort anymore. Is it really necessary for South Carolina to beat up on a team like Southern U? 73-21 in 3rd quarter...
Its still 3-5. Your list after LSU are niy winning a National Championship. This season I would say the teams with a realistic chance to win it all are UConn, UCLA, Texas, SC and LSU. I give you that is only five. But there are some other teams that could crash the party, like Vanderbilt. They didn’t fare well vs SC from that group above, but they beat Texas and LSU from that group. Louisville and Duke are dangerous teams as are Oklahoma and Michigan. Michigan lost by three to both UConn and UCLA.
So that’s ten teams that on any night can beat any other team in that group. For a long time in WBB that number would have been 3-5 teams or perhaps less I would guess.
Never said winning a NC. Said there are ten teams currently that can beat each other on a given night. Wasn’t always that many in the past. Its still 3-5. Your list after LSU are niy winning a National Championship.
You're also FOS, but that's another conversation. None of the teams below LSU can beat UConn. You know that, but you're trying to hard to say there is plenty of coaches capable of winning it all. Actually there only 3 coaches in WCB that have one it all. So which one of those 10 coaches(as you stated) is willing to coach the LV?Never said winning a NC. You are of course a fabulous spinner and I do enjoy your posts. No bad vibes, I just have an extra strong spin cycle in my washer.
But what pray tell if Uconn lost in the FF as a thought experiment. Certainly not impossible. You can see now. Oh yeah, say when…You're also FOS, but that's another conversation.
