NCAA Tournament other games thread

I swear..bad shot barely hits front rim, hits UK player in the head and bounces to ky player for easy layup.
All this after last game bs and ISU losing best player.
More lucky stuff in 48 hours than we’ve had last 8 years in the tourney combined

Kentucky has gotten so many breaks in this tournament so far.

Should have lost the first game if the officials didn’t ignore a timeout and Iowa St’s best player is hurt.

If & when Barnes retires, I’d like to see us kick the tires on Otzelberger.

His teams play hard and aggressive.

Seems like a perfect match for us.

12 TOs for KY. ISU leads despite poor shooting and KY shooting from 3 better than their average. Not a good spot for KY (YHTSI) and I'm impressed with ISU fighting back and their defense. If KY doesn't fix their turnovers, ISU runs away with this in the 2nd half.

This isn’t necessarily directed at you, but I still don’t understand why people keep treating Florida as a stepping-stone job. Everyone always said it was an automatic that Billy Donovan would leave for Kentucky, yet he turned them down both times they came after him. Why should Golden leave for UNC? Florida has three national titles and four Final Fours in the last 20 years. It’s a huge brand with a top-notch NIL. Yes, historically UNC is the better program, but that doesn’t really mean much anymore. Look no further than Bryan Hodgson at USF turning down Syracuse to go to Providence instead.

I can't speak to Golden, but one of the things that was rumored Donovan liked about Florida is that he had everything available to win without all the pressure you might get at a place like Kentucky.

Some may be upset by that, others are ok with it.

I remember I was in Gainesville after Florida reached the Final Four in 2006. At that time, all of the heavy favorites were out and winning a national title was a legitimate possibility. The first caller on one of the radio shows asked about Urban Meyer's comment referring to the RBs as trash after one of the spring practices. The host was shocked that there was a call about anything other than basketball

Again, some may be ok with that. Others would be upset they aren't the big dog.

They melting down at Rupp rafters about the fouls being called but Kentucky fouling a bunch and they just called two on same possession against Iowa State.

Ironic considering they were saved by the official who refused to give St Clara’s coach a timeout.

kats are goin down and will lift me to first place in 25 person x $20 pool/
bad news is that the other person is my 8-year-old grandson, who had the nerve to pick both the hoos and oat ....s to both win  🤣
