But a one point win allows the to advance. I recall many top seeds barely winning vs. an inferior team. Yet they advanced to the final four .~

Looking at the box score Sienna didnt even use a 6th player. Don't see that too often. Hopefully Sienna can hold on for the W.

Still haven’t. And it looks like it’s starting to take its toll. A lot of missed easy shots and mental breakdowns the past few minutes.

No matter what happens in this Duke-Siena game, Duke trailing with under 6 left while shooting like 4 for 20 from three is why I’m okay with being built how we’re built. We’ve been a live or die by the three team before and it’s too easy to go cold at exactly the wrong time. I’d rather be able to shoot poorly and own the paint and control the glass and still grind it out.

What I don't get about this is that it isn't as if this has been the team's strategy all season; like a typical low-major, they used 10+ players in each conference tournament game with plenty of double digit contributors. I get that it got you a double digit lead in the first half, but maybe a sub or two makes sense when you see your lead eroding?

*Nope, read that backwards from the start of the season hah. So they've been lean for a while, but not five players lean.
